11” is much easier to carry around and open. Especially once you install a screen protector.

Finally someone who has the silver iPad with the black keyboard! This video convinced me on what color combination to get. Great video!

I purchased Silver iPad Pro with both the White and black Magic Keyboard. Sticking with White one. White case is very clean and the exposed silver charging crease is very nice. I had previous keyboard in white and it held up nicely. Sent black one back

Great video - I tried the 11 and 13 inch iPad Pros with the magic keyboards in the shop last week, will probably get the 11 inch as it is less top heavy much less likely to topple over. The 13 inch always felt at risk of toppling over away from you

Yeah, they missed the mark this year with the speakers. Less bass. Also hate that they bait you into buying the 1TB + to get more cores. Not to mention the screen. Hanging on to my M2 iPad Pro for another year

As the iPad Os 17.5.1 continues to have software that is at least clumsy, anything new will have a reduced impact.

you should do a comparison of the new surface pro 11 vs iPad Pro M4!

Just bought one couple of days ago. Although it quite a money to invest, but I could only add up after selling my Ipad pro M2 12,9 inch base wifi. (add about 800$). I was quite hesitate to upgrade but decided finally as this becomes my main device nowadays (beside one Macmini M2 at home + Ipad mini 6) However, its absolutely worth it after using it till now as following points: 1. The screeen: the Tandem Oled is not joke vs the old Ipad Pro 12,9 M2 OLED, specially the nearly double brightness (1000nits vs 600nits). 2. The new magic keyboard: so love the new functioned row and the metalic material. 3. Interesting to see that you compare it with the macbook air but in my experience, I think there is much different in term of usage versatility that Ipad Pro could bring up compare to MBA. Also, the Ipad OS already helps me do most of the things vs MBA to be the working device. Lastly, thank for your content and keep it going bro. Bye for now from Vietnam

Thankyou for this excellent video. I also have this colour combination on both of my iPad pros and couldn’t be more satisfied. The iPad is a perfect device when used in combination with a Mac laptop or desktop. It increases efficiency in my work and its flexibility is unbeatable.

Great video. Have you found the keyboard is glitchy in the KZread app? I find the space bar/arrow keys stop working intermittently when trying to pause/skip video

You described my main irritation with the iPad Pro/Magic Keyboard perfectly. I realized I always set the hinge down on something as a fulcrum and then opened it the way you showed. Now I am paranoid that I'll scratch the hinge, plus there is nowhere to insert your fingertip. Bad design. To add insult to injury, one thing you didn't mention is that the edge of the molding on the plastic (or whatever it is) is irritatingly sharp. I'm happy with the more angular tilt and am not worried about top heaviness, although I have the 11-inch version and that may not have this problem as much as the larger 13-inch.

I got really excited when you mentioned the DBRAND skin and how you put it on your Magic Keyboard case… but then I realized how would the skin stay on when there is that crease when you bend the loft of the ipad?

Well I am happy with my M2 its super fast as expected, i am not much looking for thinner version yet i mean the iPads are already thin & lightweight since years now. Also I experienced the M4 at the Apple Store, it seemed real pain to open the iPad when it’s attached to the keyboard. Nothing new or “wow” about the M4. Well thats my opinion😊

They could have designed the iPad/keyboard combo both with a tiny lip that sticks out so that it is easy to open.

Honestly, on my 11” iPad Pro, you can hold the iPad to open it one-handed with the magic keyboard. I’m not sure about the 13” tho

Hello. Still waiting for Samsung S 24 ultra Home screen Guide Setup video with different routines.

I have new iPad Pro 13" and Magic Keyboard. I wouldn't dream using the Magic Keyboard long term on my lap due to the problem of keeping it balanced on my knees. Desktop use is not a problem of course. Maybe some third party will make some training wheels for lap top use! ;)

Thanks, Nice review. The new speakers do sound terrible compared to the previous gen. New keyboard leaves an imprint on the screen from the narrow rubber edge around the key section and it even lags a little when scrolling in safari. Other than the screen by no means is the new one an upgrade imho. I spent more than 2K and have a worse user experience.

I'm 44 years old, and I still can't figure Apple anything out. I've always been a Samsung user, and I feel that Apple users have always got the short end of the stick for choosing Apple products. I am, on the other hand, debating whether or not to purchase the IPad pro 13... I want something different for once.

The hardware looks amazing. But, what can you do with the new iPad Pro that you can’t do with the M2 or even M1 iPad Pro? I remember when the M1 iPad Pro came out. Everyone was blown away, and had high expectations for all the new things you’d be able to do on it. But then WWDC happened and it became clear that iPadOS would continue to severely limit the usability of this incredible piece of hardware. With the new M4 iPad Pro, Apple has designed an incredible and incredibly expensive device mainly for a very limited number of users with very specific use-cases that can truly take advantage of the hardware. For the rest of us, it’s just not worth the upgrade, except for people with a lot of disposable income.

I don’t know if it’s only me, but I hated the Space Black color, it’s so flat and bulky looking it looks like it was made in the early 2000’s, just like that bigger laptops that were common in that era. So sad they removed the Space Gray, it was my favorite color…

What is up with Apple’s bad webcams. They have a very good selfie cam in the iPhone, why do they put subpar webcams in their other products?!? People prefer better webcam quality over the auto following feature.

The selfie camera in the iPhone is too thick to fit into the screen of the MacBook. It’s the same reason why Face ID isn’t in the MacBooks. It’s just too big and complex.

In a few words … no desktop replacement although very expensive . Unbalanced weight , difficult opening and possible bend gate . After buying my M-series 2 Tb iPad Pro my hopes vanished when Apple did not provide an acceptable OS , my iPad Pro is the least used device I owe … in addition I hate all the chaos I have to make for a decent multitasking and file access … It is the worst buy I had made and I am not likely to make that big mistake again unless Apple surprises me . I have still a well performing iPad which I don’t use because it is a big iPhone , has only one USBC and to be honest Logic and Final Cut or Da Vinci are much better on desktop …. and for some reason I do mostly all the things I do on the iPhone pro 15 max … except drawing … but at least better from an ergonomical viewpoint…. Will Apple surprise me and make me buy a new IPad Pro … ok I will watch WWDC and hope for a decent similar -desktop improved OS … otherwise NO
