The air 4 is actually better than the 10. It has a faster chip. Apple purposely slowed down the chip on the iPad 10. Also, the screen isn’t laminated on the 10. Plus the whole apple pen situation is just horrible imo. If you get an air 4 refurbished for like 460$, it would actually be a way better deal than the 10.

They both have the same A14 Bionic chip with the 10 also having 5G connectivity. If you’re not a user of the pen I don’t see the Apple Pencil situation being a huge issue. There’s even features of the 10 that the Air 4 doesn’t have like better video and camera quality and Centre Stage for FaceTime. The 10 does lack some features that would be nice to have like a laminated display and better Apple Pencil support but it doesn’t matter to some people and the whole situation is overly dramatised.

So I'm looking at the iPad Air 4 which is 389 on Amazon excellent refurbished and I also see that the iPad 9 right now is 249 brand new I was looking at the iPad Air 5 just thinking and that is on sale for $4.99 so any chance could you give me any information or any you know of your personal experience or thoughts on that I really just want to use it for my business browsing I'm really leading more towards the iPad Air mainly because of the speakers being on either side I don't like that the iPad speakers are only on one side and my main concern is battery life and then that's really it I mean I do like I want the selfie camera to be good so when I video call people you know they see me well but as long as it's good

@@cobaltblue5523air 4 for 389 and air 5 for 499 are both excellent deals, depends on you if you do appreciate the extra features of air 5, like the m1 processor, personally me, I’d definitely go for the air 5, but if you don’t really need m1, air 4 for 389 is by no means any bad….as for 9th gen, it’s just straight up outdated….I mean, I dunno, the only reason I’d pick one up would be if I’m short on money

Do the 4th gen iPads air have laminated display without air gap in between the front glass and the display like the pro does?

I live in Russia and I bought iPad air4 at 2nd hand market. It was about 25k rub, iPad 10 gen cost about 35-40k rub new. 10 gen appeared recently so it is still can be bought only at shops. Buying it from hands won’t make huge difference with price-it is almost new model

Would help alot if you would say which I pad you are holding in the video!

Buy ipad 10 if pencil isnt much imp to u,otherwise get an old air(beware of old battery probs)

I was getting frustrated and teetering between the iPad 10 and the air… but the price on apples site kept making me climb the ladder for the pro!! It’s really frustrating! Until i saw this video and just got a 256gb gen 4 for $500 at Walmart online. A way better deal than even a refurbished one! I really wanted the gen 10 but wow compared to the air 4, no competition! My first iPad :)

​@@zeradox1901depends on your use case. The base ipad 10 should be good for almost everything except when you choose to take notes or edit heavily, the M1 ipad air pulls up way ahead.

Me personaly the ipad tenth gen is not worth it if you use it for drawing bc you can just get the air 4 and just put it to the top of the ipad boom vs the tenth gen witch doesent support the ipad ten

Anyone know that even use Type-C but speed is still same as Lightning?

iPad Air 4 and iPad 10, the display is not the same, they are very different. When you use Apple pencil to draw or write, there is a thick glass between the pencil tip and screen in iPad 10, very bad wirting experience. For iPad Air 4, seems really the pencil tip is writing on the screen, very good writing experience.

this question leaves me with more questions which ipad do you have? which pencil do you have? if you bought a 10th gen ipad with a 2nd gen apple pencil, you screwed yourself

in malaysia ipad 10th gen is Rm2099(460$) vs ipad air 4th rm2899(630$). so ipad 10th gen for me. but i would go for ipad 9th gen lol

there are two, if you look closely, the iPad air 4 has the camera on the same side as the touch id button, and the iPad 10 has the camera on the same side as the volume button, but I'm gonna be honest, i thought they were the same too lol
