Contrast this classy statement with Indiana’s sour grapes press conference. Says everything you need to know about why Lisa is the class act of the conference.

Yes. Indiana is such a great team, and Moren is clearly an excellent coach. I cannot figure out her unwillingness to say even the most minimal complimentary word about Bluder, Clark or Iowa.

Coach Moren actually did some interviews with another coach. I can't remember the other coach, but she said alot of great things about Caitlyn. She said that 20 years from now when Clark's career is done, she wouldn't be so afraid to say that she believes that Clark will be the greatest of all time. She thinks clark is best college player ever but said she doesn't want to disrespect the ones before, so she said she would be more comfortable saying it outlook when her career is done.

@@pamelamichaud994 That's all fine and good, but that was also another time and place. After this game she acted like a sore loser and couldn't bring herself to say the right thing, even if it hurt inside to lose. Teams and their fans tend to model the behavior of their coaches, just look at how Georgia acted in the tournament against Iowa especially at the end. She needed in this instance to be a better role model. I was around many many Indiana fans at the big 10 tournament after this game. I wasn't wearing Iowa gear so they didn't know who they were talking around. To a one, they had nothing but nasty things to say about iowa and Caitlin, things I won't repeat here because they aren't true and don't deserve the light of day. The coach needs to set a better tone of sportsmanship, win or lose, and acknowledge great play by opposing players when it happens. It is immature to let her emotions cloud her better judgement as happened here.

@davidedwards4720 I don't know all about that, but Clark is well respected around the league by all coaches. Moren knows she's that good. We all have our moments, and both teams played a great game .They shouldn't be too mad cause they got away with a travel. I wouldn't let one instance define someone cause she has said many good things about her. Sportsmanship is important, but for some reason, that game meant a lot to Indiana. Regardless, it is always important to set an example for your players, but no coach is perfect, and sometimes the heat of the moment can get us. I haven't seen enough negative to call that coach bad . She is a good coach. Maybe just the heat of the moment. Clark will have a target cause of how great she is, and that is unfortunate. For some reason, people hate winners, something I could never understand.

I’m very confused, in this interview Caitlin was talking about the men’s game and acted like they didn’t win. But they did win the game before this game. Am I missing something??

Clark travelled on that last shot. You get 1.5 steps, not 2.5. Catches pass on right foot then takes 2 more to set and shoot.
