Because Caitlin is more aggressive in 3s. Buekers is looking for an assist .. Caitlin also have strong guts shooting away from the arc. Buekers just came back from an injury. But they are best friends even on the floor they just play basketball to entertain in the NCAA basketball America have a strong program in women's basketball .

Generational talent for sure. NPOY for sure. She's so good! I've been watching her games, the last two months and from here on out I'll be tuning in! She has that "it" factor that only a few ever have (male or female). Court awareness, instincts, timing, and the ability to break down a defense. That deep shot, it RIPS the net. Pure shot, the mechanics, the follow through, and on top of that the quick release. She gets me excited because I know I'm watch a phenomenon!!!

Caitlin Clark is the most exciting women’s basketball player I have ever seen !! I am a buckeye and I can’t wait to watch Caitlin play again !! The Curry comparison is spot on as her shooting is as exciting as Currys is with the logo effortless looking 3s…go Caitlin !!

seriously? She’s shooting 32-% from 3, ranking her #678, despite shooting more of them than anyone…..and that includes three hot games recently. In her first 25 games she was at 28%!!! Major disconnect. She has 2 teammates that have shot better from 3 their entire career than her, and that’s her best thing. She turns the ball over 5 times a game as well, ranking her #3372! She is a low efficiency gunner and a dumpster fire on D. She’s no Curry, she’s Houston’s version of Harden, which is why she never wins. In her 2 biggest games last year( B1G finals and sweet 16), she choked and absolutely disappeared in the 4th quarter. You need to watch more B Ball. She’s a fraction of the player that Boston, Smith, Hillmon, Williams and Howard are, not to mention Fudd and Henderson, and it should be illegal to even mention her in any conversation with Bueckers. There’s a reason she went to a nothing program, she’s a gunner that better programs didn’t want and she wanted to be a big fish in a small pond…..she gets swallowed alive in the ocean. Wait until she plays real teams in the tournament that can actually defend……she’ll be pining for her 32% days.

@@cbrend22 while you are looking at all the negative , I will continue to watch and be happy to see such an exciting BBall player…you don’t have to watch if you don’t want to. I enjoy watching her play and her logo 3s are insane…I watch very little women’s basketball and Caitlin is the reason I have watched the last 2 Iowa games…as a shooter myself, I get pumped to see Curry, dame, Caitlin shoot deep 3s…

I do agree that Caitlin Clark is a generational talent. However, I do now see her winning the National Player of the year if she continues at her current shooting and assist pace and South Carolina does not win the NCAA title. I know its a huge IF but I could see Clark winning it.

If Caitlin had not been in the same class as Bueckers (and Fudd in the next class) for sure UConn would have been recruiting her. I've been going back and forth over who is better Clark or Bueckers. I thought Caitlin was better initially, then thought Paige was better after the NCAA tournament and seeing how well Paige defends. But now have to give it back to Caitlin.

Clark’s efficiency is NOT as efficient as Paige or Azzi’s. Paige also can affect the basketball game in alot more ways other than just scoring. Paige’s passes are ridiculous. And she’s still a very good scorer against top defenders. Caitlin defensively can be shut down and disrupted by a good perimeter defender. Especially one Clark has to guard on the other end of the floor. In the UConn game last year Christyn Williams completely disrupted Clark by defending her hard and making her guard her on the defensive end. This took a toll on Clark and you could see the difference. Not saying Clark isn’t good but acting like she’s better than Paige or Azzi Fudd is a bit of a reach. The only reason people think what Clark is doing this season is so impressive is because Paige has been out all year. I don’t think Clark will still get this amount of attention next year when Paige plays another full season. Especially if Paige gets this UConn team to the Final Four after this crazy season for them. But Caitlin has been one more efficient 46 points on 28 shots isn’t efficient.

Getting to the sweet 16 wouldn't require upsets. But getting to the elite 8 probably would. Making a deep run will be hard unless they somehow improve dramatically defensively. A talented tall, athletic player is very hard for Iowa to stop as they don't have a comparable player on defense and the team is generally not that athletic.

You have no idea about advance stats. Points per game and shooting percentage aren't advance stats and show little about a player's efficiency. Efficiency is about scoring the most points per possession. Yes shooting a poor percentage won't help efficiency.
