Iowa, USA sinks in 7 minutes! Houses and cars floating, severe flood in Rock Valley
Hundreds of Iowans have lost their homes to this weekend's flash flooding in northwest Iowa. Rock Valley, the hardest hit community, saw more than four inches of rain fall in less than 90 minutes.
In Spencer all the roads in and out of the town were closed Sunday morning. While people in Sioux County were hit pretty hard on Friday, Plymouth County towns had time to prepare.
As of Saturday night, the Department of Natural Resources reported that 10 water systems and 21 wastewater systems had been affected by the flooding.
