I used to watch UCONN and TENNESSEE in the 90s and they would make me crazy...i was a pat summitt fan. After she was diagnosed with Alzheimers i lost the heart to watch basketball anymore. Last year i was channell surfing and saw LSU and IOWA. After seeing clark play i was so incredibly impressed with her and the coach i started watching Iowa. I have followed them all year cheering them along. Tonight reminded me of those games in the 90s!!!! I am 71 now and live with my sister. I was yelling so much she thought something terrible was happening!!!! 😂😂😂 i am hoping Iowa can pull it off against South Carolina. It will probably be the hardest game of their lives!!! I have to hand it to UCONN...ive never seen Caitlyn guarded like that...again all my hopes and best wishes to the Hawkeyes!!!!

Stuelke bailed Iowa out. She really gave them a boost because Caitlin was ice cold. Stuelke had a 47 point game earlier this year. She'll be an All American next year for Iowa.

This game was a real nail-biter. OMG I almost had a heart attack. Great battle. Go Iowa!!!

The only things that stand out from Connecticut are Yale University, an Ivy League snobbish school, and the UConn basketball programs for both men and women. Other than that, there's not much to brag about the tiny New England state with one of the highest tax rates in the nation.

Absolutely unbelievable run to the championship game. Iowa had a difficult run through the entire bracket from start to finish. They truly are a championship team and deserves to be playing against SC whom they beat last year. SC wants this rematch as well as Iowa wanting to win a championship. Its going to be brutal game. But I think Iowa pulls it out, but it'll be tough. Congratulations Iowa Hawkeyes!

Iowa made it more difficult for themselves with mental mistakes, turn overs, missed layups. they were leading by 4 with less than a minute left and turned it over. Caitlin looked sluggish and had one of her worst games ever. Thank goodness her teammates stepped up. Kate had huge plays second half. Hannah was their best player tonight. Syd had big rebounds and two 3s. And Gabbie causing the foul at the end clinched it.

You could tell during all the pressers in the day prior to the game that Caitlin was wiped out. They really have to stop with all this pre-final four events and let the players rest up. Caitlin had to go to most of them because she was winning all these awards for player of the year. It had to be exhausting!

What a Great Game by both teams. It was ugly and it was a total team effort. Everyone was a star! Iowa in the end just had a higher game IQ! They played those final seconds to perfection. It was like a chess match and Iowa displayed such poise and patience. Caitlin intentionally missing that second FT and hitting the rim in just the right spot to put the bounce right where she knew her teammates would be waiting for it. Caitlin bouncing the ball off Paige's back to burn more seconds. Brilliant! Also, in the end it was Geno who failed with the call he made of setting the screen for Paige. It was too tight of a corner for that call, and they didn't need a three at that point. It was an illegal foul - the call was good. Too blatant not to be called. Just go and see the slowed down version it was a clear foul. Plus, couldn't Geno have called for a review of the call? And he chose not to because he knew it was an illegal screen.

Yeah. everybody who watched the game knows the truth that Uconn won. If not for BS politics Iowa would have gone down in final seconds. But Clark and SC are the media darlings and were purposely set up to play each other so they can draw in the most eyes and most of all the most $$$$ for championship game. Total BS, Clark. It doesnt mean the entire tournament is fixed or something that grand and nefarious but it was so obviously favored for them with that final bullshit call. I'm sorry but the camera man is horrific. Two full minutes of black after the 43 minute mark and you could still hear Hannah talking. Same thing happened after the LSU game. The camera was put on the floor and all you saw was carpet and shoes for a minute or two. Not to mention going in and out of focus on peoples faces. It's just horrid and Iowa News Now should be embarrassed.
