iOS 18 is now available in developer beta, and I'm super excited to share some of the new changes with you. In this video, we kick things off with the lock screen updates, including the ability to customize the flashlight and camera icons for the first time ever. You can now swap them out for other functions like personal hotspot or pinging your Apple Watch. The flashlight also has new features, allowing you to adjust its brightness and spread the light, all accessible from the dynamic island.
Moving on to the home screen, Apple has introduced a ton of customization options. You can now move app icons freely across a grid, add larger icons, and even lock or hide apps using Face ID. Control Center is more editable than ever, and the Settings app has been reorganized for easier navigation. Messages now support RCS for higher-quality media sharing with Android users, and you can schedule texts to send later. Safari, Photos, and a new Passwords app also come with significant updates.
