i accidentally put my phone on standby mode when i put it on my lap but when i actually TRY to get it into standby mode, it doesn’t work 😭😭

It randomly works for me. So I don’t know what is going on.

Standby should work without having to flip it a certain orientation 🤦‍♂️

Why do I even have the option for standby mode on my iPhone 11 if I can’t use it.

Mine is working but when the screen auto lock, the infos are missing, only lines i can see, if i swipe to other display and go back, its fine again, then auto lock and missing again, i hope you can help me, thanks.

I feel like this feature is so funny because there’s just so much wrong with it. For one, I’ve had several times where standby just starts without being on the charger. The way to get out of it is not intuitive at all if you don’t already know how to exit. It takes up screen time which makes no sense since it’s literally called standby mode. There’s probably more I’m forgetting.

Standby mode should by renamed Whodini mode bc it’s freakin magic to try and get it to appear when you want.

can I ask where you got the iPhone charging dock?

It shows the first few letters of my todo items even while locked. How do I prevent this?

I use it 7 days a week but I feel the user experience could be improved. Not easy to customize the screen. I find information scrolling that I never intended to display. Would be nice if the large clock would simply appear without some of the extra features

I’ve convinced myself of a rumor that your iPhone can remember which MagSafe accessory you are using so that it’ll display a specific standby screen. Is this true?

I turned on both standby and night mode for standby to work effectively on my iphone 11, tho the display feature is not there its not really a big deal

I came to this video looking for that answer. I only used standby mode ONCE, because it made me oversleep. I refuse to use standby mode until they fix that glaring issue. What is the point of having a nice looking alarm clock if it disables the dang alarm?!

Can stand by burn your display? I bought an used iPhone and it has with dark mod and low brightness some visible interface. Don’t know if I should return or keep it. It has pretty good condition and everything else works good

If it really bothers you, you can get a new LCD screen replacement. It’s roughly $300 for the newest iPhones. Probably less if you have a smaller screen/display.

I can't answer calls while on standby mode. Is someone have this issue? While on standby mode, when the phone rings, I simply can't answer, even if I unplug my phone. :(
