EV6 GT is a game changer. Why no Ioniq 5 GT? Same E-GMP platform.

It is a shame that the Terra Brown interior is not available outside of Korea, I really like the way it looks and would love the see what it looks like outside, in the sun, to see if the dash color reflects on the inside of the windshield. Thanks for this video.

The matte paint is very problematic as it catches full of dust because it is rough and difficult to repair after an accident to have a uniform color with the vehicle..people order and do not know

Thank you so much! I test drove the Lucid Blue in Canada. It was the only car the dealership had so I ordered the car without deciding on the colour I would get. Your video is so useful! For the first time, I was able to compare the blue and teal models at 02:00. Another option in Canada is a Matte Grey called shooting star.

Perhaps it'd depend on where you are, hopefully your local dealer would have a precise answer to that, but as far as I know, all colors should be available except for those that are mentioned to be limited(in the video)

I was waiting for someone to compare colors and actually name them. Though my possible favorites weren't in this video. I like the silver and black exterior colors, but that matte gold looks very cool too. Any other possible matte colors coming? A matte black would be awesome. BTW, it doesn't appear you laid all the way back when you were testing out the reclining feature. The passenger seat seemed to be further reclined than yours.

Glad you find the video useful! Will definitely try to capture those and post it up, feel kinda bad leaving out those gray colors :) will try my best to capture all the exterior colors. As for the seat, I did not just recline it all the way back, but rather it was the Zero-Gravity mode, a relaxing seat mode per se, on IONIQ 5. Exactly as you have mentioned, the recline itself would go down as far as the passenger seat did!

Seeing it like this is better than the images on the site. I like the Gold Matte but the teal is probably what I'd go for.

Glad you like it, IONIQ 5 is such an amazing car :) As for the door handles, I didn't find any options to do such. I'll be driving IONIQ 5 in a few days, I shall find those out. As for winter, Hyundai has testing center in California desert, where they go through an extensive field tests including the freezing conditions, so no Tesla incident would happen (I hope). Hyundai's been in the game long enough for that. Cams do not auto clean themselves, but as for DSM, Digital Side Mirror, they're coated and are heated accordingly.

Gravity Gold / All black. That's how my P45 will look like ;) Can't wait to finally see it live at my dealer's site.

Definitely higher than a sedan, but not by much. The door hugs all the way down to the side skirt like the modern SUV's so the clearance with the door opened isn't all that high though. Can't give you a comparison with the Y at the moment, sry!

Thank you great video , I live in Canada I have a AWD Long Range Ultimate on order ( 2023 ) I had ordered the Teal Green the deanship had one come in for another customer but I was so disappointed when I saw his the colour was so grey looking I think the only time it would look green would be in bright sunlight , so I have changed the order to Blue which I think in Canada it only come with black interior .

I'm actually driving a Gravity Gold Matte right now, and put about 900 miles on the car already, I do get bug splashes of course but nothing that pressured water couldn't take off and apply a moderate chemical does the job perfect, no dmg!

Gravity gold matte looks so good. Too bad it's only offered in a few markets.

I like Atlas White. I would always go for white like with my current Ioniq. On the interior the same, I would always go with the lightest color. I would also take a traditional mirror, since my arm would be in the way when looking at the monitor.

There is no panoramic sunroof for IONIQ 5 regardless of the trims, only on EV6. IONIQ 5 offers Vision, Solar and no sunroof options.

Suppp Hyundai Motorstudio just had those 5 colors up in display. There was an event with all colors, and perhaps all possible combinations with IONIQ 5 bc there were like 50 IONIQ 5's there, which I wasn't invited :'( Not a design expert, but feel like Gold Matte fits the best with IONIQ 5's design overall!

It's really difficult to say, because it is not the most "matte" color you'd expect, I mean like no reflection whatsoever kind matte - that's not it with the Gold Matte. However, it definitely fits the category of "matte" but mostly, it isn't the matte part of this color, but rather the color shifts quite a lot depending on an angle and which environment you are in (i.e. sunlight, indoor, underground, night, etc.)

You can't polished a matte finish. It will turn into satin or even gloss finish. Just wash it with liquid detergent (no kidding) that's the best way to wash a matte finished car. My advice is get it coated on the day it arrives.

I still love my 1st generation ioniq but this one is totally iunique…it looks like ioniq will be here for continuous generations to come and as one of 1st gen owners…ioniq has that essence for such uniqueness and it makes hard personally for me to decide to upgrade or not ☺️👍

I personally like stronger colors, like a royal blue or a deep red, or even an emerald green, but these days most cars on the streets are achromatic (white, black or grey), so from that perspective the fact that there are colors at all is a step up.

IONIQ 5's all have heat pumps, and recently there's been a crazy test done by Kia at -22 degrees Celsius, where they found out that the battery efficiency didn't drop by much!

Is that a Go Pro? Which series? The brown interior won't come to the US or is it the exterior/seat combo?

If you're referring to Terra Brown/Mud Gray (only available in Korea), it is said to be limited to Korea only at the moment. I use GoPro9 w/ media mod + Rode Wireless Go2 mic :)

Didn't really have any issues with the software. The only problem I have thus far flickering issue inside under the fluorescent light. A setting in one environment would be okay while it's not on the other, etc. I like everything about GoPro except for the colors indoors, but it's the best device for me being a one-person KZreadr at the moment. (versatility is no match when it comes to a car KZreadr comparing the DJI pk2)

All of our cars are white and the white Ioniq 5 looks also good. I would like to see also bright colours. With children I would a prefer a non-white interior. I also prefer traditional mirrors (at the current state of the technology).

Think white is the only "white" color out of IONIQ 5. Hyundai focused on gray colors it seems. There's black interior so that's good :) I test drove with DSM, think there's some concerns that need to be addressed to perspective buyers who have DSM in mind

If you're referring to Olive Green, the color is very strong and defined, so I wouldn't really say that color "changes."

Terra brown looks so cozy and warm. 😊 Such a shame it is not available in Germany. 😭 - Skoda Enyaq, VW ID.4 and other premium brands doing it that way too.

The first batch has been shipped off, but that one's headed to Europe, it seems :'(

External: Digital Teal-green Pearl definitely. Interior undecided but not black. Unknown though what Hyundai Australia plans on offering for colour choices since not yet launched here yet.

Options seem quite limited around the globe, but Hyundai is slowly expanding their market and choices, so fingers crossed!

I want this car so bad and can't wait for a N version as well

I ordered gravity gold with black int. , the P45 limited edition. But my favorite color actually is the shooting star grey and maybe galactic grey is not bad...

@@CarSceneKorea Gravity Gold Matte is the best for me too, and the interior, here, there is a light and darker grey interior. It looks like dark teal interior but I think the dark color is the dark pebble gray. I like this color too and it goes very well with the light seats. And the 3 back glasses are dark. And for me the good choice would be the solar roof.

Solar roof would be the practical choice! Feel bad gopro couldn't pick up the interior color better :'( kinda bad at interior shots indoors, an action cam afterall

I had an offer for a Lucid Blue one, but it's obvious here why I finally decided for a Digital Teal 😊

There are gray ones, the studio didn't have all colors unfortunately. Missing ones are in the description

Hope Hyundai build a hot N model, and give Ioniq bright colors like red and yellow. Come on Hyundai.

Pebble gray interior 👍🏻. Exterior? Hmmm 🤔. Have to see gravity gold in person. Maybe the Lucid blue. 🤨
