I felt my 2020 Ducati Monster 797 was underpowered. Test-rode the 2021 Monster 937. It’s an obvious improvement but still lacked serious grunt and suffers from an irritating rattle. I eventually bought a 2021 BMW S1000R Sport. A dream to ride. Has all the gizmos and cruise control as well.

But not all want an i4 engine. Some love it for what it is sound of the L twin ,lesser vibration compared to last model. Atleast its in the league of its own. I get the power thing its a more linear 950 compared to the likes of mt09 which power is in your face. You should try hypermotard with the same engine of this gearing is different

I traded in my Mv Augusta brutale 1090 for the new monster 937, it’s something about an Ltwin that just has much more usability in the backroads and basically everywhere I personally like to ride. An in-line 4 with that much power is fun don’t get me wrong but you just can’t use all of it like I can on the Ltwin monster

Some folks love the vibration or rattle the ltwin gives at low revs. Just like the harley lovers. Once you in the midrpms. It will be gone f.i. smooth as butter
