Invisible: Taja’s MPN Story

Taja is navigating a disease that is difficult for her family, friends and co-workers to fully grasp. She is living with the rare blood cancer polycythemia vera (PV), which is part of a group of rare, chronic blood cancers known as myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs). Diagnosed with PV at an unusually young age, Taja finds it difficult to have the support she needs to help her navigate life with an MPN.
This is the fourth film in a series of short documentaries directed by Cynthia Wade, an Academy Award® winning filmmaker in the documentary short subject category. Wade teamed up with Incyte to bring national attention to MPNs and inspire those impacted to be their own health advocates.
