Teen titans was the only real one that had effert put in to it and was not just a rushed cash grab. Edit: invisible is also as good if not better than the og teen titans

this video was a wonderful breakdown and gives pretty good perspective of general audience opinions of superhero media, that being said, i'd like to be the hardcore comic nerd here & take a second to clear up a couple of misconceptions you mentioned, mainly w/ the type of environment invincible found its start in. while the comic was a first of sorts w/ how it wrote its family dynamic, there have been plenty of superhero stories that covered actual family plots, most of which are in the decades worth of fantastic four comics. however the thing that truly gave invincible its edge was how it was just coming out of "the dark age" of comics, where everything was edgy, punk & thought it was too serious to be compared to the sillier comics of the gold, silver & bronze ages. so invincible was a HUGE breath of fresh air, bringing back the goofier pulp elements back w/ a slight parody of the ultraviolence found in much of dark age to a slapstick level of ridiculousness. all in all invincible actually came at the perfect time for superhero adaptations since both the comic & show were both premiering following an era that many people believe left them fatigued of superheroes, just for it to remind people what made the genre so special & last as long as it has.

Invincible was absolutely not the first superhero story to show a character having to balance their relationships, work life balance and responsibility as a superhero. Hell, mark Grayson's character and problems in the early comics are mostly modeled after Spiderman

I like invincible and i do think dc is in a rough place but i really don’t understand this argument for marvel comics ; maybe in like 2018 but marvel comics is genuinely great rn the best it’s been since the 80s i’d say

Since 2019 we got two master pieces in immortal hulk and zadarsky’s daredevil run. Really good ones like x men and moon knight ,thor and currently a really good avengers run with hickmen that is gonna lead into his ultimate spider man. We also have the best miles run since his creation the only marvel comic thing that sucks outside the movies rn is amazing spider man

I dont consider Invincible as a "superhero" show, if that makes sense. It has a solid emotional story beyond the superhero does superhero stuff and action bs thats been beaten into the mud

It's still a super hero show, daredevil does it. It's just good, you don't have to invent a new genre because your standards of super hero media is so low.
