"How I pet your mother" is my favorite quote ever!
The burn on Amber made my day! And the “your dad is Thanos” was pretty funny but the “how I pet your mother” was so wrong it was the best!
I am Canadian and we do say sorry a lot. This is hilarious and ya it was called Paul.
Just finished the series, this couldn’t have been timed any better.
Those Honest Trailers are funny af! You gotta see 'Paul', it's a great movie.
this is probably my favorite honest trailer in quite a while
I've been obsessed about what the Guardians could have done to be Omni man
And Subway, Eat Fresh
I mean the "you're the clone" thing reminds me more of Peter Parker / Ben Reilly situation in the infamous 'Clone Saga' of Spider-Man so technically that's existed way before the Invincble comic. I haven't watched this adaptation mainly because I used to read the comic and while I enjoyed it at first I got quite tired of it and it seems I still don't feel like going back to it. And after watching both seasons of The Boys recently I'm a bit tired of superheroes being murderers for now. Superman & Lois is much more my thing for now. Remembering why I wanted to be a superhero when I was a kid and looked up to Supes as a role model because I didn't really have that in my real life.
I think I misunderstood Amber story when I first saw it. I thought she knew he was a superhero but she didn't know which one.
I don't Think they were trying to go creepy, with that or with the strechy guy, but DEF with Amber, she had NO idea 24 hours earlier. Anyway my only hope is that Ryan George will do a Pitch Meeting! He did Mandalorian didn't he? I bet he would smash it out of the park.
Yeah, Robot and Monster Girl are both adults now stuck in the body of a teenager lol
Subway eat Fresh is so dark and funny
Ok is it weird that they play much just ripped off the Justice League in the show? I can't remember all they're names so I'll do my best. The fish guy is aquaman, red rush is flash, I think his name is darkwing but he's batman, the woman with the mace is wonder woman, martian man is martian manhunter, and Omni man is like a secretly evil superman. And I'm not sure about who the rest compares to but yeah it's pretty much just a complete and total ripoff.

That’s the idea! They are meant to be like that.

Immortal can be considered a fusion of Superman and Vandal Savage. Green Ghost is Green Lantern. Darkwing is... well, that should be pretty obvious.

Yeah they're like that in the Invincible comic too and an homage rather than 'rip off'. They're intentionally supposed to be based on the JL. As are characters in The Boys and many other superhero shows/comics and that parody or pay tribute to the JL for various reasons (often so you already got some idea of what the team represent and can do cos they're like the JL but they're separate characters the writers can do anything they want with them, usually turning them into evil pricks or slaughtering them)
