For all mankind is another great apple tv show also staring jack
Raina isnt the cause of everything lol. I think Jiaying has a legit reason for behaving kuke she did. She just got her guy back from shield indexing him and they have possession of the monolith. Who can blame a gal for taking action first? 😅
Part 2 and part 3 is season 2 split in half.
The rocks being piled were a memorial to Tess, in the manner of cairn stones being built for the dead.
Adam is a bad guy he doesn't deserve to be in heaven lute neither she is a great villain
Fury Road is the best entry of this franchise. Allmof the movies are very different with the first one being a very low-budget guerilla style independent movie that doesn't really adequately reflect the post-apocalyptic world that the series would become. But dont let it turn you off, because , the second film, The Road Warrior, was incredible for its time. That's where a lot of people jumped on board the series. Also Furiosa is amazing.
Info and foreshadows. - Lois contact at Star labs hank is hank henshaw aka cyborg Superman, one of Superman major villains for obvious reasons. - the buy thay turns big is Damage which i think this is the character first time outside of comics. Vastly looks nothing like his classic and newer look besides the red dots around his shoulder joints. - the kid Lois and Clark met he goes by name of Billy, which in comics Billy Batson is Shazam. We don’t know if this is actually hinting of billy but besides the name common comic trope is matching colors. Billy inner T-shirt is red which the character always have a red shirt, jacket or similar on him to match his superhero colors. - villain in this is Atomic Skull which is a character fans havnt seen in s long time. I think the last time ppl saw him was in the animated movie Superman vs the elite.
I can’t wait for Stella to get hers. Once she does, I’m throwing a rager bc how DARE SHE HURT WITTO BIRB BOY STOLAS.?!?
Max Rockatansky is his name is series
This is a Sweet Show.
dang black ops reference brings me back
By the way I'm 100% of the opinion that SHIELD is at fault here and Gonzales brought his death upon himself, they couldn’t leave the inhumans alone, they had to have a record of them, an index, couldn't shake the distrust and fear of the inhumans solely because they had powers, and if you know history you know that profiling people like this and keeping the on a list always ends badly, especially inhumans in the afterlife who had nobody knew about and were causing no harm left alone by themselves in the many many years before this, except for the Bahrain incident, that was just an accident and harmed the Inhuman community just as much. Daisy's mom chose war and is not a good person either, but if she was still good she would still have could have reasonably rejected indexing, and then what would SHIELD have done? If the answer is not accepted and moved on, than they would have initiated the conflict instead, which is what Daisy's mom thought would happen so tried to get ahead by striking first.
I always cheer when she drops the crystal.
The writers really took you for a ride this episode. Very entertaining.
Here....let me get the note started for you. "Dear Raina... I'm sorry for doubting you and your powers. You were right." Hahaha. I think the answer to your question is that Raina was possibly looking out for herself but she did have a vision of S.H.I.E.L.D attacking Afterlife. But her visions never told us why. Stay Tuned Next Week of The Next Episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D
Watching you being so confidently completely and utterly wrong at the start of this video was my favourite thing of today.
Watching this finale, this should've been how MCU should've done with Kang.
Yeah bro, she evil.
The Doctor accidentally broke a shrine aka a fairy circle to "Mad Jack" a dark spirit, creating a tangent timeline where Ruby is "cursed" with "keep at a distance" "semper distance" curse and the old woman apparition whom will say something only terrifying to the person that tried to talk to them (probably the old woman would say "keep away from Ruby or you will die a horrible death and your world will cease to exist" or something similar to that). The Doctor like the other people were compelled by the curse to absolutely keep their distance from Ruby with no way to resist. The old woman was the spirit of Ruby whom skipped backward in the tangent timeline until she returned to the start to whisper "don't step" into Rudy's mind
Hehehe so focused on Raina as the manipulator
Mack annoys a lot of people but I tend to regard him as one of the most essential characters in the show. He is his own man and he has his own particular outsider's perspective on things. I can respect that.
Reina was the hedgehog that cried wolf.
Nobody, but the family knew Kerry was missing his foot. Not even the WWF.
Nope, Kara is pissed off at Bobbi for a VERY different reason, but, it's also VERY understandable why she would be.
Hunter drawing the spikes on Raina's picture is GOLD
I always say... Nobody does character growth like AOS ✌️😎
How is it that no one is talking abt the fact that vox and valentino thouge kiss at the end like look closely at the end!!!!!!!!
Gonna have to revisit part of this reaction later on. I have a feeling certain opinions of yours might drastically change.
😊 so I only stuck with agents of shield through season three. You know how things get with life. It was a great story arc all the way through. To be honest, it’s one of the things I miss in the MCU. Somehow agents of shield for a TV show managed to build story arts better than the big picture. MCU has up till now. Strap yourself in Omni if you thought season two is good wait until season three.
Oh man, you skipped out before season 4? You've gotta go back and watch it. It's almost universally regarded as the best season of the show, and for very good reason! A masterclass in writing and acting from start to finish.
😊 honestly still to this day outside of Colson, Patton Oswalt, character and agents of shield was one of my favorite side characters ever. It was such a simple idea of a character, but it adds to the atmosphere just like the idea of Tony, having Jarvis, and I believein the comic books, Doctor Strange had some sort of or somebody in the mansion.
This is AOS at its best. "I hate this character, but they have a point" "The feth is going on !?" "Yes, ofc, X Episodes ago they did this thing, which is the reason for that stuff now!"
The whole Project Theta thing for me was extremly disappointing, even watching it live.
I really hope you do a double drop next week for the season finale! It’s one of my favorites, if not my absolute favorite, season finale of the whole show
It was an absolute delight watching you misjudge May, Raina, Cal, Gonzales and Jiaying feelings/intentions. And also not see the Kara reveal coming 😂
Great reaction I had when I originially watched it the same feelings regarding Jajing. Also just a heads up the next 2 episodes belong together as a 2 parter and where originally aired on the same night
48:33 In the game, we see a base of the buzzards (the guys who drive the spiked cars in Fury Road) and as you drive towards it you don't know what it's then when get over a sand dune you see it and it's an airport
One thing AofS could do very well was doing the opposite of what you expected. You've now seen TWICE as AofS killed off its bigger guest stars (Lucy Lawless and Edward James Olmos) almost as an afterthought. And what you expected of Jaiying and Raina is very much not what you get. If you wondered why (amongst many other reasons) people were so pissed at SECRET INVASION, it's because of how miserably, how pathetically, it failed at the sort of thing AofS nailed so consistently for so long-- and on a much lesser budget, over more episodes, and in much, much, much faster turnaround.
I know what you mean. Fridging Maria Hill for shock value, after 10 YEARS IN THE MCU as just a side character…my god, that really infuriated me. I still can’t believe they did that.
I always comment that Jiaying was wrong for what she did but I understand how she got to these actions. One of the most prominent themes this season, to me at least, is how trauma changes people - for better or worse.
You have to remember: for these Inhumans SHIELD and Hydra are the same thing.
My only real feedback, can you do more than one episode a week, please? 😂
Haha, a great reaction!! I think Coulson would've died. He has Kree blood (which led him toward the city) but he's not inhuman or potential inhuman (which is why he reacted negatively to the blood unlike Skye who was a potential inhuman when she got the GH325)
Didn’t expect a Bib Fortuna reference in Ted Lasso 😂
I think the only S.H.I.E.L.D. person to see Jiaying who might have gotten out alive was Coulson. One, he wouldn't have been armed (at least, not so obviously). Two, since he was the one assumed to be arriving, there wouldn't be the feeling of a bait-and-switch -- which hardly engenders trust. Three, his relationship with Skye/Daisy as well as Cal's seal of he-cares-for-our-daughter. But the one item that Gonzales and Coulson have in common, and the one even Phil might not have overcome: the index. To Jiaying, that's no different than number tattoos and inholy experiments -- something with which she is very experienced with. Perhaps something mutual: a list of all S.H.I.E.L.D. agents would serve as a quid pro quo. No guarantee that Coulson lives, but the switch all but assured Jiaying of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s untrustworthiness. TBF, she may have overreacted.
I love how they played with the "Cassandra" trope with Raina. Instead of being literally cursed to be disbelieved, she's just lost everyone's trust. Even most viewers think she's lying.
It's the ultimate "Girl Who Cried Wolf" scenario. She's finally been "blessed" with the kind of divine gift she always dreamed of - but she's lived such a treacherous life that her gift is rendered almost useless.
I think it's how Raina is acted. The actor just makes you think Raina is being disingenuous. "Well, maybe I should be in charge." Ruth Negga just sells the insincerity, she sells that Raina is being sketchy. Just a straight-up misdirect.
@@dondumitru7093totally and it fits her character. Remember Cal found her in the streets. She had to survive by becoming a grifter essentially. It's how she got everything she has. And everyone whose ever known her knows her that way. She probably doesn't know how to act any differently and no one whose known her can trust her because they've probably been conned by her in some way. Gordon and Lincoln only knew her after she transformed, and Jiaying is already in high alert being fed info from Cal.
Jiaying is very much the Magneto of the Inhumans. And you really see the dark side of that here.
Wow. Your reaction was priceless on this episode. Haha.
Great reaction 🙂 I love the writing of this show. Although I think it was really thoughtful of Gonzales to give Jiaying such a meaningful gift, I still blame him more for how things went. Their first mistake was sending Gonzales and not Coulson. Second mistake was him comparing his wound to what Jiaying had to endure. It’s not the same at all! Jiaying’s reaction was still shocking but also understandable. And third, they wanted to put everyone on the index, which I don’t agree with.
No, Jiaying had already decided what she was going to do, as soon as she heard about the object on the ship.
@@dondumitru7093 I don’t think so
@@weisserdrachey SPOILERS For example, she already had the plan in-place to hijack the quinjet to fire the missile at the building. That plan had to have been concocted before she actually met with Gonzales, so the content of the meeting with Gonzales was immaterial to her actions.
@@dondumitru7093 that’s a good point. I still think it could’ve gone differently if Coulson had come, since Daisy said he was okay and Cal said that he cares for Daisy (despite hating him). I think she made the decision to go through with the plan right after Gonzales came instead of Coulson, when she told Cal to go with them
*_I love how the show linked to the Age of Ultron movie via Raina's vison last episode and the Helicarrier in this one. To HELL with all of the backdoor politics and the naysayers who try to pretend that AoS isn't part of the MCU: The showrunners did a great job in the first two seasons to link the show to the movie side of thing, despite the lack of cooperation they got in return. Knowing that the "Couple of Friends" who helped Fury take the Helicarrier out of storage were Coulson and Koenig is just 😘👌 'Chef's Kiss'!_* 11:54 & 12:15 & 18:06 - *_LOL!!! I love how riled up you get at Raina's powerplay moves: You are perfectly vocally expressing what we all felt when we first watched it_* 😂👍 16:30 - -*LOL (Again!). I always enjoy it when another AoS fan doesn't clue-in that Agent May was on two different Quinn Jets at the same time (... Mainly because I didn't when I first saw it and kicked myself all the way to the end of the episode!). Shows again how good the writers/showrunners were at hidding the answers right in front of us with us being none the wiser!*_ 25:32 - *_Nice Muttley impression there!_* 🤣🤣🤣
17:53 at least he somewhat has morality
Ward actually does love Cara but like Rana the past actions won’t let you see
Shield writing was so good. D+ shows could never. It's amazing how often that antagonistic characters you don't like have you responding with "that's a good point...but" only proves it. We have our side, but the writing and motivations and understandable enough to know why others have theirs.
Except for Jiaying, she was just straight evil out of nowhere. Just out for death, destruction, and seizing control.
@@doomse150in her defense, someone working for SHIELD literally chopped her up into bits. That would probably skew most people's outlook.
It was not out of nowhere. Shield/Hydra in her perspective located their place, experimented and killed one of the inhumans. She thought history was repeating. They also had the monolith that could be used against them. Hence she took the first step
@@lakshmankanthboyina5485 That only works if you still treat Shield and Hydra as if they were the same entity. Also, attacking Shield just because they have the obelisk (locked up in a containment chamber) is a very questionable strike first policy. Also, her version of the Bahrain incident is all kinds of fucked up. Simultaneously claiming Shield shouldn't intervene while offering no alternative solution? For all we know, Jiaying would've just waited for the girl to tire herself out by killing? a bunch of people, since Jiaying herself obviously has no regard for human life whatsoever.
@@AmyL._orcgirl She seemed very aware of the fact that Whitehall worked for Hydra, not Shield.
