The fallen angel being underlit worked so well. It gave it such a eerie demonic look. All this with the accompanying angelic figure with the hidden horns just made it so impressive. The way you worked with the invert and how you managed to make them work in both versions. You are a very talented artist and a teacher.

It's amazing how much "cooler" it ends up looking reversed. Like, in normal color, it's a little... awkward, but it immediately looks so awesome when you switch it!

Love how the eyes and the mouth looks like they're glowing like it's on avatar state

I have a feeling that the reason why it works so well, is because as every artist knows, when you simplify your process you usually get better results and by not being sure about the colors, you don't overthink them and end up muddying it and you mainly just focus on technique and conveying the form. Digitally, your color palette might be 4 colors but how many times have you used the eye dropper in the middle of a gradient and it just ends up looking off.

Another reason is that by flipping the colours, you obtain some colours that are impossible to replicate with paint pigments. That makes them really stand out!

@@DaP84 Physical paint and digital screens use a different colour model. Screens use the additive model (RBG) by outputting light of different wavelengths, while print media uses the subtractive model (CMYK), which has a much smaller "gamut" than RGB. In other words, you can obtain colours on your screen when inverting an image, that cannot be reproduced with physical media.

He does a good job, but I feel Joker usually leans in a more playful direction attitude-wise. Joker is a character who cracks jokes. I don't see Jazza's voice doing that quite as well as some other joker voices. Jazza's voice sort of leans a bit more DiMaggio than Hamill.

When the fallen angel painting flipped, my jaw hit the floor. What an incredible piece.

I just love the appreciation he can have for his own art! Being happy with your own results can be so tricky sometimes, and it’s not necessarily related to how skilled you are. Seing someone genuinely happy about their own art is such a treat. That Lucifer though, it was freaky good!!

The Bob Ross style painting goes hard but Jazza forgot to add the birds reflections lol.

@Jazza you should do a painting but with a hidden painting that turns into something completely different when under a black light.

Jazza's joker impression never fails to impress, even years after I've heard it last, it still brings a smile to my face.

its so cool to see the inverted versions look normal, it really is a magic trick

that last painting is genuinely one i would happily hang up in my house and im not even religious, its just really good art, even before the flip. but that does add SO much more to it!

@@silentecho1956 Yes there will be pictures. Like old style renaissance type paintings showing the story of Lucifer...or Judas or whatever. Do you think this is what I was talking about? Do you think this compares? And there's not a lot of options religions wise assuming all the Abrahamic religions include the story of the fallen angel as cannon which I dont know or care to find out. But it doesnt matter. None of them would have a picture like this of Lucifer on their wall. None. This is the realm of the edgy dark grunge goth style (or whatever the fuck its classified as). This is the kind of thing a cringy edgy teen who listens to death metal would have on their wall.

You're making a lot of assumptions and ignorant statements about things you know nothing about. Silent Echo was just saying that they don't care about theology yet still immensely appreciate the artwork. It's not that deep.

My freaking goodness! All the paintings are great, but the 3rd one works both with and without the filter! Heck, if you can mass-produce prints of it, it would be like a perfect Halloween thing that would sell well because no one would suspect the change! Like, I freaking want to buy that painting myself now!

That Lucifer piece is INSANE!!! It looks so awesome in reverse AND with no reverse! You really outdid yourself here, all of them were great!

Oh that is SO clever having both sides of Lucifer and it worked SO well!! That would be amazing to have on a wall in either contrast!! I love that so much! I feel like the merch store needs to add a digital Jazza dictionary with all the words he makes up during filming as well.

All the paintings look absolutely friggen cool both ways.

Indeed. The landscape (normal) kinda feels like a post-nuclear holocaust type setting, but inverted it's suddenly Studio Ghibli.

This was an extremely enjoyable video to watch. I wouldn't mind watching something like this again. Even if it has to be more complicated or more grand for renewed viewership interest.

Dude... Seriously... You got me so stoked on some of the stuff I've been working with and a concept I've used in my miniatures from the beginning. The universe I created has 3 suns for one planet and 1/2 of the time is spent int black light. This just showed me the true potential of my idea as I continue to grow and learn as an artist. I am entirely self taught though, so it's a very long road. I just recently found out I've been using glazing techniques without knowing that was the term for what I was doing.

I could never have imagined painting something that works both in normal and when inverted and your Lucifer painting does it so well! It's incredible! You did such a good job.

This is easily one of my favorite videos he's done in a while. The fallen angel end piece was wild and came out so good.

You know what would be dope? If you drew a painting depicting an Angel in normal colors and a Devil in negative colors, all in the SAME PAINTING!!

@@ianboyer2224 no, he painted Lucifer, not two different angles in the same painting. The commenter was talking about having an angle on one side, in regular color, and a devil next to the angle in negative. When viewing the painting, you'd see both figures but only one would be in proper color. At least, that's what I'm assuming given the fact that he did indeed make the Lucifer painting. Since you were so vague about in your first comment, I assumed you were criticizing the idea itself.

He is so talented and creative and super underrated and the video quality is so professional absolutely love it

That last one it ffffing incredible! It is such a beautiful art piece both the original and the inverted one. The two first lookes like a mess before they are inverted, but the last one is really beautiful!!

I‘ve painted like this before. And it‘s a LOT of fun! It‘s also a really cool exercise to get a better handle on how to use colors, because you have to be much more aware of what you‘re picking. Can only recommend it to everybody!

This was actually incredible. I want more of this, please!!! I would be so curious to see if this still works so well if you try a larger, more detailed piece!

The Lucifer idea is actually so genius and creative I can't even fathom it, and especially due to how amazing it looked in the end! Literally my new favourite piece of art.

I kind of want an exhibition of this kind of art in a museum, where you could wear some kind of device (maybe some kind of VR or something) that flips the colors and you could see the pieces flipped or as they are drawn by putting that device on or off. That would definitly be a cool concept for a somewhat interactive art experience.

Its truly amazing to me how a human can have this much talent.

That Lucifer piece is absolutely stunning both conceptually and physically. What the eye naturally sees is the original angel that Lucifer was, and in inversion we see his fall. A very powerful and wonderfully executed piece. Both works are simply incredible.

The Lucifer painting looks great in both versions, and they look great next to each other serving as a thematic contrast that shows the transition from good to evil. I've seen Jazza seemingly throw together amazing art pieces in short periods of time, but the casual application of well-studied color theory as a self-driven challenge to create these highly competent paintings is very, very impressive. Well done Jazza.

jazza’s channel is so cool because he’s always experimenting and trying out new types of art and even though i only watch occasionally it makes me realize how many different ways there are to do art. seeing jazza try out these things as a beginner always makes me imagine people who devotes their life to becoming a master and makes me wonder what someone could do with it

The fact that you managed to make the fallen angel look good flipped and non-flipped is really impressive! Same with the landscape one, but I think I actually prefer the non-flipped landscape

Your art is already amazing but that angel is absolutely breathtakingly amazing. I don't know how but you manage to just get better and better when I already think there's no way you could make even cooler art than you already do you make something even better. If you ever decide to sell prints, I hope that is on the list because that needs to be framed and put on walls. You're very skilled at art, thank you for sharing your work with us

The Lucifer is just mindblowing. You've took the technique and used it to its full capacity. You've managed to create a pricture that works insanely good both inverted and in real. The medium itself tells the story. That is art.

Its crazy how the joker eyes turn from some teal sploches to actual eyes. Those are the best images you have ever made for the first time in my life I want a print of that

The Lucifer painting looks so amazing with all the flames and elements underlit. It would be interesting to see what you could do with a wider range of colors unassisted. With the landscape I think I honestly prefer how you actually painted it over the inverted version. Yes the field below the mountains is a bit off in the actual painting, however the rest of it has a very interesting look with a firey sky. Plus the lavender trees simply seem like a bit of an illusion on how the light is hitting them.

I thought they were all great both ways but, the amount of detail that popped in the jokers eyes when it was switched and how dark the under eye got, 'chefs kiss'. Adding the white to the white page didn't do anything, but when it inverted it was amazing how the white showed up so dark. EXCELLENT!

i was actually really excited to see the final piece, and i haven't actually anticipated in something for so long, it was quite refreshing. and then when i actually saw the inverted angel, i did a mini scream of sorts out loud. 10/10 love the piece

I've done a lot of inverted paintings over the years and they really do look better when you flip the colors 🥲 a lot of my paintings look like absolute garbage until I whip out my phone and invert them 😂

The Angel one was just perfect. Both in looks, as in metaphore. In normal you have the „light side“ with a beautiful, mysterious guy and on the flip side you have a fallen angel with rage and fire. 😃

The Lucifer works so well!! It turns from a sort of angelic light into a hellish blaze, the cloth around him goes from looking sorta put together to looking torn up too

Yeah I don’t ever remember seeing jazza upload this late or technically early as I’m 50 minutes past midnight it’s normally around the afternoon or evening when his videos get uploaded

@@CrazyGamebino I think this might just be his new publishing time. His last video was also posted around this time. In Australia, it's 5pm right now whereas he used to upload really late at night. He's probably gotten extra help to edit videos and is no longer working overtime as I remember in a vlog they were working late at night finishing videos.
