Inverse Normal Distributions - How it all Works
The inverse normal distribution function allows us to calculate the value of a continuous random variable X, given the probability that X be less than that value. It is the inverse of the normal cumulative density function. We work through examples in which we learn how to use the inverse normal function and see how it is different from the normal cumulative density function.

Wow...What I thought was a sort of monstrous concept turned out to be relatively easy. Thank you for explaining it in a layman's language.

Thanj¿k you so much, the anwser was so simple yet I did'nt know how to find the table statistic for a right tail test in a chi^2 distribution. Thank you again.

Have you confused the inverse of the normal distribution with the inverse normal distribution? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inverse_Gaussian_distribution?wprov=sfla1

Hi Soryie, Thanks for your comment 😊 Could you be more specific? If I made a “silly” mistake, I will be more than happy to correct it. Walk me through what you did. Wishing you all the best! Take good care ✌️

@@RadfordMathematics so I put it on my calculator using the inverse normal distribution with area = 0.75, mean = 88 and mew = 19 and I got 78.35508295.... so on

@@HydroElectricGamers The video seems right to me. I don't understand where you've gone wrong, but 78.355 is less than the mean. We clearly need a value for Q that is greater than the mean.
