at 7:20, can you not answer it using 0.3 instead on 0.7? I don't understand why its necessary to to answer it the same way as part a even when its a different question

The calculator is only capable of giving the observed value in the inverse normal function if you provide the probability of being less than a value. NOT more than as indicated in the red box at the top of the video.
is there a calculator which has the chi-square function but which is non-programmable? because in the exam I am not allowed to have a programmable calculator.

Nope, You cant use the inverse Distribution. But, If your asking how to use the calculator to find a normal distribution then: 1) Click on mode and then press 3 2)the during the options click Ac 3)Hold shift and choose 1 4)Select 5

wait so you don't need to multiply the deviation with 6? you can just use zero instead?

Sorry, I would like to help but I am confused by your question.

in 9:55, you did mention that for the lower bounds we should remember to multiply the deviation with 6 and then subtract with the mean, but then you used zero instead.

I now understand your question. Yes I said take a value at least 6 standard deviations below the mean. That would be 50 - 6(0.2) = 48.8. I know 0 is way below this but would still be fine. Just saved me working out 48.8 and entering a value. Try 47, 46 ... etc and you will see you will get the same answer as I did.
