In 1948 I was born and brought up there until 18 then joined the army. Haven't been back there much and not in the last 21 years. Hard to believe just how much it has changed and modernised. Love it. Was a great place for kids with all the open spaces.

Yes Pam. The city has more modern buildings and the mall is amazing. The one thing that hasn’t changed is the people. Superb, down to earth characters throughout the generations. Glorious.

The building you wernt sure whether being built or knocked down was menzies building which is now being remodeled and will be new Distinction Hotel

Have you been Keetah? Didn’t think so. Home to genuine people and with the sea on the doorstep and Fiordland as a backdrop! It’s doesn’t get better than Invers.
