Wish We would get a big competitor to KZread where the revenue share is also lower than KZread not 45% and only big tech company like Microsoft, Amazon etc could do that.

The way that KZread pays is predatory. Only the mid to big channels get any money at all, even though nearly all channels have advertising now. And they won't even allow smaller channels to get money via the thanks mechanism until they already have hundreds of subscribers. The whole thing hurts everybody, as it makes sponsorship deals essentially mandatory if you are producing videos that require any meaningful effort or expense.

Since my channel was accepted into YPP, no ads on my videos. Whad did i do wrong?

Yes, you must disable the Pre-Roll ads on all video's as soon as possible! Bot-attacks will play or click these pre-roll ads! It won't show up as a view in your Analytics but the Algorithm will detect is as Invalid Traffic and punish your channel with a loss of 90% ad revenue. Instead use more mid-roll ads!

Shut off ads for 2 months, gave them back during the month of November, now shut off again, it's not a glitch, it's purely intentional on KZread's part

In all likelihood if they would just say that there was a problem or even just properly listen to the people with the issue and promise to get back about it, that would probably be somewhat less of an issue. But, at the end of the day, while this is rented space, the content that KZread depends on is being created by 3rd parties that don't have to create it at all and Alphabet should have been slapped with an antitrust suit years ago over the anticompetitive behaviors that lead to the situation where there isn't a viable alternative for people that won't to share their videos for some money.

I was hit today. They aren't working on it. I think its intentional

What percentage would you consider to be too high from external views? The second I notice an increase in them, I demonetize the video and set to private. From watching other KZread videos about this, I've removed all video links from descriptions, and have turned off shorts remixing and embedding to try to attempt to solve this problem. I wish KZread would acknowledge it, so we all wouldn't have to post so "scared."

my main channel got hit hard and i mean hard in december 2022 and hasn't been fixed whatsoever. Looks like it might be the end of my youtube career by the end of the year, sadly, as i cannot fix it.

Im currently being hit with invalid traffic. To think over 4k videos and was earning 8n triple digits now double digits... That is so hard to accept and no one can help

I got it today. I think I saw you comment on another video similar to this... We're all looking for answers. Take off embedding on all of your videos. You also need to go through your analytics and see where the external sources are coming from. At first I wasn't sure what the f*** I was doing, but then I found a video that had 83% of My views coming from Gmail. Super red flag. I wish you luck

@@onthafire420 thank you for replying. yes this has hit me hard and even gave me depression which i kept to myself. I went through some vides and saw those with unknow source views but my channel has so much videos it will take a while before i figure it out. some watch time and earnings started to grow back up then suddenly July starts now and it seems to be going back down. July 2 2024 was the lowest i ever earned despite the watch time increase.. it really saddens me after all these years i'm just going down for something i have no idea what to do

If one is not monetized like myself, should I apply those changes still?

No, you can't. The options are only available to monetized channels.

This might be a way to bring down your competitions. If this is a possibility, you can do how this might be done. Best practices to avoid it.

supposing that advertisers paid youtube and youtube flagged the channel with invalid traffic and or resuse or repetitive content, thereby hold back the revenue, where is the money going? did must be investigated thorougly

That option doesnt prevent people from running ads on your videos. It doesn't work. Great video btw

@@elozonath there's a theory that the 'youtube advertising' traffic source is the main cause of invalid traffic coz channels with invalid traffic had it too.
