If you take the buildings before destroying the towers you can keep them. So many wasted towers :(

Wonderful architect moment. Constructing a needlessly long path to attack flame towers you started off able to attack without any chance of them fighting back.

I love how he finds a new tile, sees it's worth a lot of money and immediately decides to sell it, only to regret it next turn, finding out that yes that resource you never saw before was indeed rare.

You can also sort of plan to use the enemy hexagons that you attach to your island to surround your existing structures and increase their efficiency mid-battle.
