Intuition Skate Liners & Buttery Ledges.

Are Intuition skate liners worth the money? I discuss what you can expect from the liners in both performance and feel, and whether they are the right liner for the type of skating you do.

    Like all intuition liners they are made to be molded / boot fitted, something usually seen more often in ski industry. I work as a boot fitter (mostly ski and snowboard, but also blades, ice skates, hiking shoes, mx boots, etc) and a liner like this never gets sold without a proper measuring/fittment session, good debate and the whole molding process. Or you need to be willing to take a bit more time to break them in (but the end results might vary). In any case amazing technology and liner when used correctly, just like mentioned in the video.

    Also the Themtuitions AKA Them intuitions collab liner they are shorter thn the regular intuition liners. I fit a XS intuition liner pretty good, butt the Them intuition liners XS hurt like hell. Thank God the new them skates that come with intuitions have individual sizing now! Wish they did this earlier so I didn’t have to go through the pain and buy $200 liners that still hurt after a month of skating! Individual liner sizing issue solved so things can only go up from here! Once broken in they are great liners!

    The biggest reasons I love the FR1 Intuition and the Intuition V2 liners: - Due to their height they compensate for high flex cuffs - Thin yet comfortable foam makes it super responsive while making longer rolls possible - Even when not perfectly molded to your foot they don't cause blisters btw. i am not an aggressive skater. i am also rather casual about free skating but roll on almost a daily basis as long as the weather allows for it.

    I think the problem with Law's Intuitions is that the Them Intuition liners are padded for the low end of each shell's size range, and he's on the high end. I have the same shell and liner size as him, but my feet are a centimetre and a half shorter, so I love them.

  • @coreyenglish8706

    @coreyenglish8706

    Fair point. I’ve never skated the THEM intuitions, but I am the same amount oversized for the size liner I run. Knowing how often Lawrence gets out to skate vs. how long it took me to break my liners in, I don’t fault him at all for not using them. I thought his comments about them when he did his final review on the 909s was accurate. They’re great if you skate regularly, but if you only get out for ≈1hr a week, it’s not worth the investment.

    MOE English Tutor Singapore it’s hard to say. That boot is particularly narrow. A friend of mine had better luck with a reign v3 liner in the twister shell. That or a MyFit 2nd skin may be a better option for you vs the intuition. Again, everyone’s foot is different so I can’t say for certain. The intuition could be a good fit, or you may need a different boot altogether. Sorry I can’t provide a definitive answer for you.

    I would ask if you removed the heel pad the aeons came with and the footbed and just used the intuition heel bad and shoe goo to the bottom of the shell. Also for anyone with UFS(not Aeons) are you able to get the liner out after you glue it down? I have a pair of Roces M12 LO ECOs with Myfit liners that slide even worse. • @coreyenglish8706

    @coreyenglish8706

    3 жыл бұрын

    Before you buy new liners, verify the cuff bolt receptors are in the correct positions. They are not identical. The ones with the number 1 on them go on the outsides. 4 goes on the inside of the left foot. 6 goes on the inside of the right foot. If they are not positioned correctly, they will not sit flat.
