Introverted vs Extroverted Intuition | Do you have a strong or weak understanding of what they mean?

In this video I am going to touch on this topic and try to open a few paths toward debate on intuition and what it means to be introverted or extroverted. I am a little tired in this video so if you get irritated, yes I get it, but nothing I could really do about it. Struggle through it and I really think you will get the message and excuse the slow parts. Let me know what you think in the comments below. - Marty

Basically, Ni users start with a specific problem and seek the object as a solution. Ne users start with the object and think about all the problems it could possibly solve.

You are conflating Ni with Fe. Steve Jobs may have had Ni but that is not what was needed to make the iPhone a reality. Ni is about strategy, seeing years into the future, ignoring what everyone else thinks. Ne is what was needed to create/design the iPhone.

Great word: con·flate - combine (two or more texts, ideas, etc.) into one. You said: "You are conflating Ni with Fe. Steve Jobs may have had Ni but that is not what was needed to make the iPhone a reality. Ni is about strategy, seeing years into the future, ignoring what everyone else thinks. Ne is what was needed to create/design the iPhone." You are 100% right. Who said Steve Jobs created the iPhone? Did I? I do no think I did. Can you tell me the time in the video where I did that? Steve Jobs did not create the iPhone. He was the idea. His team created the iPhone. Did I not or was I not clear? I hope I am now so no I did not conflate Ni and Ne but thank you as I will be more clear next time; try to be at least. TYWC - Marty

@@marty_glenn I wasn’t clear enough either in my comment. I kept hearing you talk about Ni in terms of seeing how things/events affect others, which sounds like Fe. Steve Jobs definitely had Ni but was seriously lacking in Fe. His vision and ability to put the right people in the right places makes me think he was a Intj. You gotta have Fi to be that ahead of everyone.

@@marty_glenn argument strat: repeat every word they said so they know how dumb it was, then question their word choices... the mental equivalent of getting kicked in the family jewels with a steal toe boot... I love it.

@@SM-es2os When he says that, you have to think about the nature of Ni. Ni works on an axis with Se, which hones in on present sensory details. Prioritizing thoughts/feelings sounds like Fe, but you have to look at the specific context in which Marty is saying this. In this context prioritizing the thoughts and feelings of a person is simply a strategy, and when taken in will help form a stronger subjective impression of what that person needs.

The key to this comment: 'but you have to look at the specific context in which Marty is saying this' When you place the other points on this foundation it is pretty spot on. It is a birds eye view but said very well and I must say, with enough knowledge of the cognitive functions that I would or could not argue. The original comment and this comment make a person think about reality which is cognitive vs behavioral. Thumbs up. ;) TYWC - Marty

This helped me to understand Ni finally. *I disagree entirely about the eye brow scenario though.* As an Ne user, I would not use what I see on social media…I would generate all the possible shapes that I could see working well and then allow the client to choose.

Okay, I thought it was Fe you were conflating with Ni but now I realize that it's Ne you are conflating with Ni. ISTJ's have Ne at the end of their top stack which would explain some of the the examples you have given in the past about what you call your Ni. It all makes so much sense now.

When all you know is behavioral MBTI and nothing about cognitive functions; I could be the fucking tooth ferry for all we know. You might want to try and give a counter life example to any cognitive function instead of just stating letters. Also please, use details from Jung's work as that would be very helpful in understanding where you are coming from. When you comment, you state nothing. Read your comments. They are weightless. I will discuss anything with you but you have to bring weight and not the weightless comments you are currently throwing at me. I just do not have the time for stupid shit, so act smart like you think you are. okay?. I made this video for you. You should watch it. kzread.info/dash/bejne/hJutlqaIp6fOZqw.html TYWC - Marty

I searched the definition and decomposed of the words in french and english. I understand better with your analyse. Knowing what the words means it's important, the better understanding of words, things or ideas. All make more sense with your words : ob-ject and sub-ject. The root of the word itself : ject > throw. Same in french : jet > jetter (=throw) with "objet" and "sujet" The best inventions come from Ni.
