If only the PM5 would automatically pair with my HR monitor.

Putting a tiny checkmark on the 'projected' line at the bottom is insufficient for letting the user know that he/she can start rowing.

Rowing is an excellent exercise that offers many benefits for overall fitness, including weight loss, building muscle, and improving cardiovascular endurance. When it comes to burning fat or building muscle specifically, rowing can actually do both. One study found that rowing for 30 minutes can burn an average of 255-316 calories, making it a great option for those looking to lose weight. Additionally, rowing can help build muscle mass in the lower and upper body, as well as the core, due to the full-body engagement required during the exercise. Moreover, rowing is a low-impact exercise, which makes it a great option for those with joint issues or other injuries. It is also known to increase cardiovascular endurance and can help decrease the risk of heart disease . While rowing may not specifically target belly fat, it can be an effective component of a fat-loss program over time. With its combination of high intensity and full-body engagement, rowing can help burn overall body fat and improve muscle tone, leading to a more lean and toned physique. In conclusion, rowing is a great exercise option for those looking to burn fat, build muscle, and improve overall fitness. Its versatility and low-impact nature make it a suitable exercise for people of all ages and fitness levels.

With all respects: Great machine. The PM5 monitor and the App - They suck. Two deal breaker problems. 1. If you take a break from say a 5000 meter workout (for me 28-30 minutes) for longer than 2 minutes or so - the monitor resets itself, your current position and all your data disappears - you are screwed. 2. The App. I have an iPhone 12. The app does not connect automatically. You have to go two menus deep on the PM-5 on the rower to make it connect. It's not a big deal but in 2022 there is no reason for this level of hassle. I started a workout, with the app open on my iPhone and hey, why doesn't it connect? (Also would I lose my progress if I cycled through the machine's monitor'a menus to activate it? ) What would you say if you had to go two menus deep on your car to make your Prius, or Tesla (I have one each) connect to your phone? or if you had to use any menus to manually switch your cell phone from cellular to your home WiFi? In 2022 there are no excuses for this nonsense. I loathe that my workout disappeared. (In 4 days it's done this twice.) If it was just time I'd use my stop watch and not even bother with the PM5 - but there are some complicated calculations and measurements going on so that won't work. At the very least the face of the PM-5 monitor should have a "Connect" Button and instead of four unmarked buttons, and at least one of them should be a "Pause" button (Like on every treadmill on the planet.)
