Introduction to the Anycubic Slicer
This video covers an introduction to the Anycubic Slicer with an explanation of settings ive found useful. Overall, I have to say the Anycubic Slicer is pretty OK. Remote print is a love hate relationship, but also the reason I keep coming back.

G28 ; move X/Y/Z to min endstops
M420 S1 ; load mesh
G1 Z0.28 ; lift nozzle a bit

G1 Y3 F2400 ; zero the extruded length
M104 S[first_layer_temperature] ; set extruder temp
M109 S[first_layer_temperature] ; wait for extruder temp
G1 X180 E40 F500 ; Extrude 25mm of filament in a 5cm line.
G92 E0 ; zero the extruded length again

I love this video! Your Anycubic FDM videos are always much appreciated and welcomed!
Thank you for this! I have been experiencing significant print issues but your settings and the pressure test results really helped. Plus I learned about slicer functions I did not know about.
Thanks! This is my first 3D printer and the video explained a LOT of detail for the slicer.
This video is genuinely a godsend. Thank you so much. I actually have a decent grip on the settings and have been able to make the necessary judgements. You pointing out the clearly absurd acceleration speeds helped me resolve a significant issue I've been having with major oscillations in larger prints, which I couldn't figure out with endless calibration tests. It really was as simple as layershifting caused by accelerations on the y axis.
Awesome video all I got to say is WOW this is the Best video for beginners. I just bought a kobra 2 and I can't wait to do the settings when I print again. Thank you so much for all this knowledge.
Bro, Thank you so much, just got my Kobra 2 Max and this tutorial helped out so much since Cura doesn't work well with the Kobra 2 Max.

Do you have any issues with scaling? - The stuff I model comes in correctly into Cura but is absolutely microscopic in Anycubic with an error message. There's nowhere to adjust scaling or units. It says I'm exporting in inches however it's modeled in mm. I'm lost as to what to do next.
Thanks for the tutorial! I think this is the only one on the new Anycubic slicer? Excellently done.
Thank you Mark for this, I just got into the hobby and have a Anycubic Kobra 2 Max. I am hoping to print some gardening items because my wife and I are starting a channel and a company in coming months.
Thanks for putting out this video. You are the only one that allowed me to clearly understand the parameters within the Anycubic Slicer software.Where were you last year when I got my Kobra 2 Plus? I have no means of printing silicone, you should have a side hustle and sell sets of silicone hot bed bushings. I'd buy a set in a heartbeat. Keep up with the great videos!
Thank You for Your video. Very good explanation
Great video! It really helped me out. Subbed!
Thanks a lot, I wish you the best.
thank you, werry nice exploration
New sub, great video on this slicer, gonna binge watch yours on this slicer. Used Cura but I want to give this one a try. Will you do a video on the Organic supports and paint removing what you don't want etc.
I've had my kobra plus for a year now and have been using Prusa and Cura slicers. I can't find a profile for kobra plus even on anycubic website so I made my own but never knew what speeds I could run at. This is the best video I have seen in all of my searches. Incredible. I'm going to start using anycubic slicer and start with your settings. Thanks so much for this. I have only been running about 40mm/s on perimeters. Do you know if 230 speed is ok with a kobra plus? TIA Subscribed
Just installed the .6 nozzle really need settings for that. Have not found a single video for K2M settings for this. Forums have not helped so far. Thanks for the video

I played around with a 0.6mm nozzle, didnt find the sacrifice in print quality worth the time savings so went back. I believe I set the nozzle to 0.6mm in the slicer and left everything else related to the nozzle settings blank and it printed OK, definitely could have been dialed in better.
Useful video
Can I do sequential printing with this slicer? And how do it? Thanks
Love this video, it helped a lot. At the 3rd interval you are talking about supports and that you'd get back to the paint on supports but maybe I missed it? If not, could you explain a little bit about that feature.

@@mark4jr I started the video at the link you sent but I didn't hear anything about the "paint-on supports" button on the left side, 2nd up from the bottom. Maybe I missed it?
Awsome vid. But I have the default acceleration and it’s fine. I did bolt the table to the concrete wall.

glad to hear you are able to run the stock speeds, im starting to suspect one of my printers has a bad y axis stepper motor as its now struggling with layer shifting at these slower speeds. In touch with Anycubic support to hopefully ship me a new one
I don't have those retraction settings in my printer tab
Thanks for the Vid! FYI Heat gun is better than a torch.

ive got plug in and cordless heat guns, keep coming back to the torch as its very very fast, will admit a heat gun is definitely safer but safety 3rd IMO

How do you get it to show how much a print costs total after entering the value per KG? I cant seem to find that anywhere.
Thank you for this video! Quick question: I can only see the "whiter" lines on the bed and not the small ones. I need to see the millimeters. I don't know what I clicked during the setup, but I saw them disappear. Help me, please. :(
is there anyway to adjust support density?
Hello, I have a problem with my kobra2max, autoleveling doesn't work for me, no one gives me a solution, could someone help me? Please!

Question, I have a problem with the support they are really hard to remove, how do you fix deal with that ? It’s so difficult to take them off
@mark4jr
26 күн бұрын
There can be a lot of factors that cause this. Lowering the nozzle temperature might help. I find the more accurate the first layer, the better the supports release. I'd recommend printing this test print and adjusting the z-height until you get it close to perfect, if your printer is like mine it might take modifying the bed to get it level/flat before the first layer becomes consistent (I have a video on this) www.printables.com/model/671915-anycubic-kobra-2-max-bed-level-first-layer-calibra
Another question. In Cura youre allowed to just merge files into one if they were made to be merged. Is that a possibility in this slicer? Or do I have to merge them in another program and then import? Thanks!
@mark4jr
4 ай бұрын
im not 100% sure but I dont believe there is a way to merge inside of AC Slicer. I have been modeling most things in OnShape and exporting them ready to slice/print
Is there a way to add a pause at certain height, so you can add other materials or change color?

that's a resin printer right? the printing principles are similar but different enough id imagine there would be a different type of slicer. Im sorry I havent done any resin printing so im just speculating
Thanks for the guide mate! Only question I got now is what to do about my printer saying it’s offline? Anacubic’s app made the printer to some sort of update and turned the printer offline so remote print really isn’t an option for the time being.

@One_Stale_Donut

@@mark4jr Orca has built in tests for pressure advance that's better than a line test, flow rate, temperature, basically every test but the Z offset, and I really like that. I know you can do the same in prusa/anycubic/cura but it's usually lot more involved there.
Hello I tried you to copy your end g code. But it won’t take it idk what I’m doing wrong. Also are you planing on doing an update to this video since Anycubic has added setting to the slicer??
@mark4jr

ahh sorry the gcode is not working for you, im not sure either as I copy/pasted it from the slicer. So far I havent noticed much in the last update other than UI improvements, bug fixes, and a change to how the cloud connection works. If I ever see any major usability changes I might update the video

go to paint on supports and right-click while drawing. it will paint red which tells it you dont want a support there no matter what. just make sure "For support enforcers only" is selected or it might override
