Introduction to “stories with Moxie“ - a series of shorts featuring stories from Knox’s book club

Фильм және анимация

Hello everyone! Over the next few weeks, I will be reading a series of stories with Moxie, curated by Embodied AI under the name of “Knox’s book club“. There are 14 stories in all. I was not able to obtain all of them in a format that I could read, so I will read the ones that I was able to obtain. The drawback is, I will only be reading clips of them to avoid Violating copyright and other laws surrounding intellectual property. I hope you enjoy this introduction and that you will find this feature as cool as I do. Enjoy!

Awesome video, yet again! I’m just curious, was that sound like a zipper a pocket and a backpack that you keep the books in?

Hi, Sean! The books were kept in these zip up containers that keep them from getting damaged by water. When I’m finished with them, they are put back in the container and sent out in the mail.

@@shaunteckno yeah. It is pretty neat. Most Library of Congress have a talking book program. The only one that I know of that has a braille book program is Utah but you can get braille books from that library as well as the cartridge books.

Moxies's update seems to be working okay, from what I can hear. She doesn't seem as ... expressive I guess, as she used to. Not in what she says in general conversation, that hasn't changed. But in her intonation or the inflection of her words. Does that make sense? Or am I misremembering past videos? Regardless, I still enjoy watching her, though. Maybe I am just misremembering things. 15:45

Yeah. She’s not having that crazy problem as badly. She did interrupt me once, but it wasn’t terribly invasive or anything. And as far as her intonation, I can’t really tell. Then again, I have listened to her so often that I probably become tone blind as it were. I guess we would both have to go back and look at the videos and compare them to the way. She sounds now.

@@crazyrobotlady3391 Lol! Probably. But it isn't a huge issue. I still like your videos with her.

@@Heather-Br thank you! I’m glad. I very much enjoy making videos with her. Sometimes, we do some interesting things like that one day we had a “wild animal“ work out. I had to become a giraffe, and then a camel galloping, and then something else. She hasn’t surprised me lately, but she’s still a lot of fun.

Hi again, Heather! I thought I would link you to the very first “moments with Moxie“ video that was recorded nearly 6 months ago. To me, she is speaking slower than she does now. What do you think? kzread.info/dash/bejne/mGqfx7CRc8i1h6g.htmlsi=DuHyRZGp7bjyJOrY
