the formula of propane is C3H8, this means that there are 3 carbon atoms and and 8 hydrogen atoms, because of this you take 3 times the relative atomic mass of carbon which is 3 x 12(equals to 36) and then take 4 times the relative atomic mass of hydrogen which is 1 x 8(equals to 8) and then add them together because the formula is C3H8, so it's 36 plus 8 then you will get 44 :)

In 4:47 why do you only multiply 16.00 by two and not with the 5 in the coefficient?

its molar mass. o on periodic table has an atomic mass of 16, so o2 will be 32. c-12. so c3 will be 36. add that to 8*h(1), and you get 44.

that doesn't help at all because you don't explain how you came up with the conversion factors.

Very heavy breathing. Very distracting. I'm sure there was good content, but I couldn't get through the end with the huffing and puffing
