Introduction to QuickShape 2022 for Blender 3.1
QuickShape is a tool for drawing freeform shapes in 3D. Our priority was not to make a rigid hard surface modeling tool but something that lets you draw characters, creatures, vehicles, environments and any other kind of asset you can think of. The goal was to take the best ideas from other software like 3D Coat and Gravity Sketch and bring them to Blender so you can create your concepts as fast as possible without any technical issues getting in the way. The workflow is streamlined to use as few clicks as possible!

Thanks for this! We had Jama come and do a 3 day masterclass recently and he kinda whizzed through this, so it's good to slow down and absorb this properly.

amazing addon & tutorial, the only thing I wish was included in the tutorial is how to use QuickShape instead of the knife tool for image textures

I am a bit confused with Gumroad,, didn't know that you had different add-ons individually spread out thought there was some sort of name change because of the way that website displayed your content thought they were all in quick deform when I clicked on your name it only showed one add-on from you,, I really wanted to buy this add-on quick shape,, but oh well I will purchase this also but I'm really trying to find out at 0.29 you have "quick assembly 2022" "quick curve 2022" "quick deform 2022" "quick shape 2022" & "quick texture 2022" did I leave anything out?, in addition I am unable to find "quick assembly 2022" is this in Beta? Literally I hate Gumroad as a design it is so complicated.......

Hi, amazing tool and clear tutorial! I've got an issue with the ngon tool - when I press the RMB to confirm the selection, it turns off quickshape (like pressing Shift+F). Clicking the RMB in any other moment (with quickshape active) creates the object context menu, like it normally does in Blender. What could I try to fix this?
Hi, great as usual. I remember Jama showed also drawing using Metaballs. Is it still present in the addon? Or it's what now is called Voxel Resolution?

Hi, thank you for the tutorial. I got an issue with the quick menu. I am using 3.1.2 quickshape and quickcurve, but for both add-on, when pressing ctrl D to open the quick menu, I cannot drag the sliders on it to input any value like in 7:04. Tried Left& right mouse and slider, no reaction at all.

@@ALKSNDR I got it! Thank you. Before I hold ctrl D a bit long and once released the menu disappeared.

Hi, does someone know why the CTRL F quickshape panel disappear each time I create a 3D shape ? I have to press CTRL F each time I want to make a new volume. Thanks for your help!

Version mismatch, make sure you have the latest QuickShape version 3_6 with Blender 3.6
Does this completely replace quickdraw? Is quickdraw a product anymore?

I just updated to Blender 4.0 and for me QuickShape doesn't launch anymore when I press shift+f.

Uninstall all quicktools addons, close blender, reopen blender, install the latest version from gumroad for 4.0. Will work then :)

@@ALKSNDR When I use 4.0, every time I start blender, qucikshape will change my keyboard mapping, making some of my shortcut keys invalid, such as shift+a. I need to reset before I can use it. This happens every time I start blender.

@@haronc8234 hey just uninstall, reset hotkeys, close blender, reopen and then install the latest version from gumroad. It will be fixed.
