I hated most of his lectures on Russian literature, but at least the essay you discussed here seems less pretentious and more insightful. The thumbnail deserves an award or something. It's so awesome!

you made me fall in love with c+p all over again. Hope you make videos again someday. Thumbs up.
Thank you so much for this, you're the only one who talks about him as critic, all the videos that I've found are all about his book lolita, thanks again
Awesome video. In fact, I've watched this multiple times. You've earned yourself a like and a subscriber.
Style and structure is de essence of art because simplicity is das ultimate form of sophistication
Excellent video. Nabokov certainly lived up to his own criteria.
excellent, thank you for this.
This deserves more views :(
I would strongly advise against picking Lolita as your first Nabokov read. It's way too devious and complex. There's nothing worse than a person who misunderstands it. You'd be better off choosing something like Invitation to a Beheading, or The Defense, or maybe Pnin.
Good stuff dude
Nigga, I want more of your videos. NOW. Much love :3
Excellent!
