I am actually learning Korean but I decided why not learn Japanese too?! Honestly, the first time I tried learning Hirigana, Katakana and Kanji I physically screamed because of how difficult it was at first. But watching this I realise that with patience and motivation(aka anime) Japanese isn't as hard and annoying to learn. I think I should take it one step at a time, Korean first since I know a little bit more and then Japanese but learning the language is my goal!I find hangeul and some parts of Korean easier but Japanese grammar feels slightly more easy. Plus my voice which is quite deep for a girl naturally goes a bit higher making me feel cuter when I speak Japanese. Wish me luck!

What I found is that (for me) while explaining how to pronounce "Arigatou".. thinking of the (ri) as a (D) helped a lot.. The first 3 letters of "Arigatou" sound like "Awdi"

This tutorial was amazing! I don't think any other videos have helped me understand Japanese so much as this video. Arigatou!

OMG! Finally ! that makes sense now. I just started and got a bit lost right away in trying to figure out how to make sense of it all. Everything suddenly seemed daunting. I should have started with this video and then with the LEARN HIRAGANA lessons. Thanks for the video. That little bit of grammar info just blew my mind. It all makes sense now.
