Introduction to Exploit: A Live Coaching Lesson

Ойындар

Recently I recorded a lecture I gave to a few of my low- and mid-stakes no-limit students about how I approach exploit, note-taking, reads, and thinking about exploit from a top-down perspective. In today's video, we look at the framework we build our strategies around, and how we can begin dominating weaker opponents once we realize they are weaker.

Fantastic video! Tons of great and useful information; however, I really like how you described the idea that leaks in one branch of the game tree will reveal leaks in secondary parts. Getting accustomed to making proper adjustments in secondary nodes will definitely take some practice but this concept alone should help a ton. As always, thanks Alvin!

Just thinking about the parallel nodes will have you going down the right road

Hi Alvin! Nice video, and I wonder how you adjust your bet sizing, like table tamer thing?

I've exploited this reg because he range bets 33% quick and quick almost always means weak and he always bets 75% with value or a semi-bluff. because he's playing like 12 tables then he's face up on the turn so I bluff with reckless abandon when I have no showdown value and I've noticed out of curiosity, if he range bets without thinking I wondered if he would fire more bluffs on the river after x/x turn? Yup almost every time because too much of his range is garbage with no showdown value. There's too many branches of the game tree that i'm exploiting his weaknesses so I'm sure he's dazed and confused. Because at first he probably though I was an aggro-fish that was over bluffing because I play 30/28 so I adjusted by value betting thinner.
