Diabetes mellitus refers to a group of diseases that affect how the body uses blood sugar (glucose). Glucose is an important source of energy for the cells that make up the muscles and tissues. It's also the brain's main source of fuel. The main cause of diabetes varies by type.
Description:
This is the 2nd part of the video, Introduction to Diabetes Mellitus, in the series on Diabetes Mellitus by Dr. Najeeb.
In this video, Dr. Najeeb discusses diabetic neuropathy and its types, such as mono- and polyneuropathies. He also talks about the autonomic dysfunction caused by hypoglycemic damage to nerves and the development of diabetic gastroparesis. Later on, he also discusses the effect of high blood glucose in the formation of cataracts and the role of diabetes in causing immune dysfunction and bacterial and fungal infections.

Repetition make you remember the lecture life long,i use to listen his lectures in repeated manner after every two to three months,I hope his lectures are not boring..I love to listen while driving, sleeping,and even while I m sick .. Any ways stay healthy and happy bro 🙂
