Introducing the Zeen - Advanced Mobility Device | Alternative to Rollator Walkers and Wheelchairs

Meet the Zeen®, an advanced mobility device that can be a chair, a barstool, and act as mobility support. Elevating and revolutionizing the common walker and wheelchair devices, the Zeen is uniquely designed to bring more joy to life instead of limiting what you can do.
Big and comfortable saddle of the Zeen is supported by four agile wheels. Using a gas spring invention, people in rehab or geriatric patients can rise up or sit down effortlessly and transition to walking or coasting with a very low risk of falling. Upon pre-setting the inseam length and weight, the saddle will raise you up to standing, walking, and ‘barstool’ position, or gently drop down to become a comfortable chair. ➤ Why is it called ‘Zeen?’
‘Zeen’ is an homage to ‘Draisine’ - the proto-bicycle invented by Baron von Drais in 1816. Draisines had a saddle and handlebars, but no pedals. Riders coasted along by striding on the ground, and by all accounts, the experience was exciting. Our Zeen clearly needed more than two wheels, and the pair at the rear became our patented ‘dual-state’ casters for controlled four-wheel steering.
Zeening is likewise exciting!

I think the Zeen has some great features not found in other mobility aids. However, after closely watching several videos, I noticed some problems with it. First, with the weight of the user right out in front while walking or skating along, there is a real risk of the Zeen tipping over. I don't know of a good fix for that, as adding a counterbalancing weight farther back would make the Zeen too heavy to transport. Second, a single seat belt strap is not safe enough to hold people securely and is even riskier for heavier people. However, there is a fix for this. Instead of a single waist belt, use a harness style. Third, the extremely high price puts the Zeen out of reach of alost all potential buyers. Fourth, it would be good if you came out with a bariatric model for wider, heavier people. It could be priced a little higher than the regular model, but both MUST be priced at a level that most buyers could afford. Fifth, remind people to set the parking brake when changing positions.

Mine is on order. I am so excited! A zeen not only helps my health, it will open up new places for us to live. I had all but given up hope on urban environments, which are intimidating with canes or crutches.

Wouldn’t be allowed in some facilities. The seat belt would classify as a restraint and to avoid issues with inspectors, facilities would probably disallow them

Poorly done ad- they flash so many short clips that you never really get an idea of what it does…I’m surprised that someone did not point this out when they made this ad. Longer clips showing people demonstrating walking, standing and sitting would be useful…this ad is rubbish.
