Like you, I've been waiting on these Micro Daggers since they announced them at Shot Show in January. I've had the 43x and 48 since they released in 2019, and both have the silver slides, so neither were optic cut since Glock took forever to release an mos 43x/48. As soon as the micro slides were available, I bought all 4 colors of the normal Micro slides and the grey C-1 slide just to test with my 43x and have had them since June, along with about 10 micro magazines. Everything has worked perfectly so far with the magazines and the slides with the 43x, so I was happy to finally see the frames and full guns released this month. I grabbed 3 frames and a blk C-1 Micro so far. I'm still waiting on the last 2 frames to arrive at my ffl. On my Micro slides I have mostly the Holosun 407 or 507k's, but 2 have the Vortex Defender on them. My complete blk Micro C-1 has the new Cyelee Cat X-pro on it, which has the circle dot reticle. As soon as the different color Micro frames drop, I'm buying one of each in grey, sniper green and fde. I've had both my 43x and 48 milled for the Holosun EPS Carry since the Micro slides have been out, and I prefer the green 2moa dot EPS Carry to the 407/507k, Defender and Cyelee Cat X-pro, mostly because it's an enclosed emitter,

Man you’re dedicated like me haha - thanks for all the feedback. I’ve been waiting ever so patiently and I’m hoping it was worth it. I’ve seen plenty of folks testing the slides with great success as well. Can’t wait to finally get these to the range and see how they perform. Most of the folks on this video have been commenting the EPS and that’s the way that I’m leaning. The main selling point is the fact that it has an enclosed emitter. I was looking at the other Holosun models as well as the vortex and even Viridian. Congrats on all your new gear! I still need to order another frame for the extra slide that I have lying around. I personally haven’t handled any, that being said I’ve seen a number of folks running them and they seem to be happy. I suppose it depends on what your budget and tastes allow. Couldn’t hurt to check out Reddit or some of the Facebook groups. That’s where I tend to see them most.

I’m glad you got the frame, I missed the compete gun twice because they sold out in less than 3-4 minutes. I watched it like a hawk when they were due to drop and finally snagged one. That aimsurplus slide looks good and has decent reviews. Just curious - why choose that over the psa slides? Looks like it’ll possibly cost more but you get more flexibility building it yourself…

That’s awesome - I think that you’ll love this pistol, I know I do. There’s not much in the way of trigger upgrades besides the stuff from tactical pontoon, changing the trigger shoe only, and or swapping in more Glock parts to make it work with aftermarket triggers. Anything in the Holosun lineup is solid imo, 407, 507, and EPS. Keep your eyes peeled, those mags come in and out of stock. Thanks for the comment and I appreciate you being part of the squad. Merry Christmas! Can't believe I missed this being back in stock. I swear I'm on the email notification lists haha. I'm genuinely curious to see how well those mags function. Oh and I ran a 407k x2 for awhile on my Shield Plus. Worked like a champ other than the crappy mounting plates available. I also have several thousand rounds through a Riton MPRD2. For $99 it's been surprisingly decent, except for the fact that it's auto adjusting. Hate that. Oh and you have to remove the optic to change the battery, but I've only had to do that once.

I’m shopping optics at the moment, haven’t made a decision but I’m considering a number of different options. I’m leaning on the EPS carry as of now, but I’ll take my time to research before I pull the trigger. No pun intended lol. Speaking of triggers I’d like to check out some other drop ins and see how they stack up against the apex stuff. @@VPTACTICAL Yeah I have the first gen manual sentinel on my Hellcat. After about 2 years of use mine suddenly would not turn on. Swamp fox sent me out a brand new one and that one has run great since. Only downside, even in the newest generation is the battery is still located under the optic so that yearly battery change will cause you to have to re zero the dot.

I would consider the c-1 more of a xmacro type gun more so than a 43x with a comp, but that's just me.

Same thoughts - the vortex series hasn’t caught my eye visually, at least with their pistol optic line up. I’ve got a vortex sparc that I love, but that’s another story. I hear you loud and clear - seems like it’s pretty much been about the 43x. I’ve stacked my p365 with the xl grip next to it and they’re very comparable in size. Compared to the base p365 it’s a little over 0.5” longer and 0.4” taller, putting it in the xl category size category. You’re not wrong - I’m sure they did their research and created what they felt would really take off in the market. P365XL size with the ability to drop in glock parts, that’s amazing imo. I hear you, I need to get one myself for the second slide. They were dropping them for a solid few days straight, I haven’t seen any more drop since then. Although I haven’t been that attentive recently lol. Stalk the Facebook micro dagger/43x group and that should give you an idea, Matt from PSA usually tells us what’s going to drop on a specific day. Great question - they’ve been in the 300-400 range. Prior to the release of the complete guns, a lot of folks have been using the micro dagger slides on their Glock frames. From my understanding the g43x/g48 slides should swap over the micro frame no issues. It goes without saying that they should be the same style aka gen 3. I hope that you get your hands on one soon. Makes sense - they’re coming in stock just about daily at 4pm EST. The shorter micro dagger has its perks, concealable mainly. You’re right though for the price point you get 15 rounds plus an optic cut. A big step up from the Glock 43x!

Why carry longer slide on a shorter barrel? Makes no sense.

Great question - the C-1 with the longer slide and shorter barrel has the compensator built into the slide itself. Thus with the added mass and compensator, the perceived recoil should be much less. I just did some research on the 407k vs 507k vs EPS…. Looks like it’s between the 507k and EPS for me. I’m leaning towards the EPS- I really like the idea of the multi reticle, the solar option is certainly a plus. Dang optics are as much as the gun haha, but worth it!

@@VPTACTICAL just make sure you get the EPS carry, not just the regular EPS. They are very similar but the width of the carry is narrow to accommodate the micro 9’s like p365 and G43/48. They are both the RMSc or “K” footprint, but the EPS is the width of a full size double stack (G19/17)

Shooting the comp vs the standard, can you tell any difference?

Great question - the obvious, it’s a smaller more compact version. Easier to conceal like the other models you suggested. The p365 basic is very small and if you have larger hands like mine, it won’t be as comfortable to shoot. In addition the recoil feels considerably more snappy. Not terribly so where it’s uncomfortable to shoot, but you get the point. The Mp is decent - haven’t had a ton of range time behind one, they do the split trigger and have a pretty hefty trigger pull weight from what I remember. The magazine size for the p365 is 10 rounds, unless you get the xl and you’re pushing 12. The shield is somewhere around 7-8, from what I recall. While the micro dagger may be slightly bigger than the shield and p365, there’s more pros than cons. Better trigger (arguably) at least over the shield, higher ammo capacity, and grip size. Depends on if those factors are important to you, will determine which you choose. Micro daggers are between 300-400 price point. From what I’ve seen I believe that price point is lower than the other two, at least the Sig. I hope this helps - thanks for the comment, and I appreciate you being part of the squad. @@VPTACTICAL it really helped. i been toying with the idea with budget conceal carry because i kinda have that idea if you do use your firearm than its in police evidence till they decide to give it back so buying a micro pistol at the price of a full size duty is kinda wierd in my opinion. i get you have to get a gun suitable for self defense but it doesnt mean we should spend money on eye candy that you might not ever use. if i get the dagger im gonna have to go thru 500 rounds just to get the conceal permit in my state and its the only one im allowed to have on said permit.... being in commie new jersey and all.

@@jerseyjackrabbit2829 dagger is G19 clone and micro dagger is G43X/48 clone. These would be easier to conceal and slightly harder to shoot because of thinner profile. If you don’t have any problem concealing the Dagger, there isn’t a need to buy this one.

Slight differences: Regular micro - standard 43x barrel no comp C-1 - standard barrel with built in comp on the longer slide X-1 - longer barrel, no comp with longer slide That’s the basics of it lol. I don't know. Is the Dagger micro really cheaper than a Glock? I will give one a try but the regular size Dagger the trigger is so terrible it is unbearable. I might try and replace the micro trigger with a Johny Glock trigger. Get rid is that terrible hinge trigger. The thing they did do better is put the rail on all of them. You don't have to get an MOS in able to install a light. I do have the magazines inside and use and carry in my 43x. I have to say PSA did an excellent job on the magazine. Even better than the first 15 round magazines that came out.

You bring some up valid points - some of the micro models are in the $300-$400 range. Even after a trigger replacement it’ll most likely still be more cost effective than the Glock. Like you said a standard rail and you also get a standard optic cutout, without having to get into MOS which greatly increases the price. I know you mentioned the 43x, did you pick up one of the micro daggers yet? Also - I’ve heard good things about the Johnny Glock triggers!

@@VPTACTICAL Seems like they are more than that. But at the same time I have not ordered one yet and they don't have the regularly in stock. I am sure once the initial rush is over they will give better deals. Like the standard size. I also have not had a micro in hand. I am only going off my experience with the compact. I don't really like the compact at all. The magazines are first rate though. I have several and they all work well.

I get it, you’re going off personal experience. I snagged the c-1 for 359, the standards were around 330, and I’m not sure about the x-1 as of yet. I haven’t seen that model drop. I’m a fan of the compacts, although I’ve really taken to the micro. It’s a solid shooting gun and feels right in the hand. You’re right those magazines are amazing, did you pick up the standard or micro slick?

@@VPTACTICAL I got all the slick. Better than the Shield Arms. I even forgot the name. I the 300 something price for the whole gun or just a complete slide? I will probably try one if they are that price. I will most likely hate the trigger. I need to get around to selling my compact.

300-400 for the whole gun, slides are around 200-250. Gun comes with one mag, fyi. You can always swap the trigger of course!

This video is fake. These guns don't actually exist. PSA makes one of them every nine weeks and then posts that they have them in stock.

Hahaha - they’re very much real. PSA is getting more and more in inventory. Stalk the website around 4pm EST, follow the Facebook micro dagger/43x group to know what’s dropping on what day. I know it’s crazy but this is what we’re working with as of now lol. Also make sure that your cc is on file in the PSA website, that way when it’s available you can strike quickly and get what you want. They’re real but PSA seems to be artificially capping the sales so that Dagger Compact inventory can move. PSA claims to be pro-2A but they’re a business first and don’t want to cannibalize their Compact sales. This is why you can find a compact for $239 and it is always in stock. I believe PSA sold some micros only to the KZreadrs to keep the hype going while they’re moving Compact inventory.

@farhan.naushad I can’t say for sure they’re doing what you said regarding holding back inventory. I’m not affiliated with the business, I’ve seen plenty of average everyday folks like us get the micros. You just have to be quick enough - I have a KZread channel and they wouldn’t send one to me. I bought and paid for it out of my own pocket and got in line just like everyone else. It’s just a matter of time before you’ll get one, I think it’s just a demand issue. Demand is high and inventory is low - could also be r&d testing to make sure they’re good to go. Lots of reasons that you and I will probably never get the answer to. Just a thought.

everyone of the reviewer have their hands on the micro... i have been watching and wanting one for a while... i have never seen on to drop. im so confused... is this just a review gun?

Definitely not a “review gun”, just a gun that purchased with my own cold hard cash and review. They’re dropping pretty much at 4pm est, every weekday. Best bet set a timer for 3:50-3:55 pm and stalk the micro dagger section. Different models drop each day - if you want to know what models are going to be live that day, then check out the facebook group 📸 Look at this post on Facebook facebook.com/share/6T56LVLJH4niJX7K/?mibextid=K35XfP Matt from PSA usually tells everyone what’s going to drop on what day. He’s also really active on Reddit. I’ve personally seen these guns live on PSA’s website everyday weekdays around 4pm if not iust before. They’ve been dropping daily at 4pm eastern, Matt from PSA lets everyone know which ones will drop on the micro dagger/43x Facebook group. Make sure your cc info is on file with the PSA website and when they come in stock move as quick as you can lol. Seems like more inventory is flooding in and a lot more people are getting their hands on them. Before when I was looking they were selling out within 1-3 minutes, now it’s more like 10-15 minutes…. @allenbolen9705 Yeah you’re better bet is to get on there just before 4pm. Otherwise those notifications are generally delayed and you’ll miss it. Same thing happened to me multiple times.

@allenbolen9705 Nice! Ive heard good things about the Canik and the R7 seems intriguing. I’ve heard that Kimber was having some qc issues, at least within the last few years. I wonder if they’ve gotten past that…
