I need a micro dagger for my sister and a 10mm dagger for me, i uave the compact but would like a full sized 10mm if they would make one, they look much better than a glock and just as reliable mine is more accurate and much better cuts for carrying, I got black eztreme carry cut with suppressor height sights doctor cut and put plate on keeping irons for carry and reliability so nothing to fail or break or get caught on anything drawing it or walking in woods get nothing into the beautiful slide cut outs, ill get thr skide cut suppressor threaded barrel dagger for range and competitions. But for 200-291 shipped guns can't be beaten, i got nine for 291 after tax and shipping got gun case magazine for 321 total after shipping tax and FFL fee that's AMAZING! You can them without case and magazines for 190-250 depending the upper you want, but the good suppressor threaded barrels with slide cuts are in sale for 160-180 and lowers are 59, thats a steal. everybody was shitting on this cartridge till ruger, psa, and S&W brought out their own designs for this caliber all the sudden it’s a great round. Which means that everybody was just a FN hater 🤷🏻♂️
Haha this sounds about right, either way I still like FN. They make some solid products 🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸.
I started to watch this and when you got to the recoil spring and you said... and this should just pull out... I laughed to myself and said.. no Sir you'll need a paperclip... 😉
“that’ll be about 100 bucks a mag”
Nah. It's come down a lot in price. About 20 to 30 a mag depending on the ammo
And the size of the mag.
My Rugged Oculus 22 suppressor is also rated for 5.7x28. NATO finally adopted this cartridge in the last two years. There is now a 7 round magazine extension out for it. Making 30 shot magazines + 1 in the chamber.
Awesome! Makes me curious if my R9 is rated for it, can’t find anything in he manufacturers website. That’s pretty cool, I might grab some of those extensions! Thanks for the info and comment. I appreciate you being part of the squad - be safe and stay vigilant 🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸.
I love how people were so hyped for the 5.7, and now they're like, it's not that good. I mean i don't really give a shit im a revolver guy, i don't have capacity but i do get to choose what size hole i want to the wall behind you
I hear you - I still think it’s a fun round to shoot, everything has its purpose. Is it the best for defensive purposes?, maybe / maybe not. I don’t have any revolvers in my collection yet, something I’d like to explore in the near future. Thanks for the comment and I appreciate you being part of the squad. Be safe and stay vigilant 🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸.
I like them married at the shop in PSA so they fit together perfectly from the jump and dont jeed filing of burrs or break in period for the pieces to work themselves together.
A 10MM option from PSA would be cool, you’re right though PSA has some amazing deals price wise. Sounds like you’ve got a solid setup and good to go! Thanks for the comment and I appreciate you being part of the squad. Be safe and stay vigilant - 🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸.
357 sig is more of a "small rifle cartridge" than any 5.7. And it's not.
@@IDK_what_TO_call_IT_ Thanks for the feedback and info, I appreciate it. 🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸
Neither one are a small rifle round. Both for their bullet weights are about 1k fps too slow. 223 with a 55gr to 77gr gr is popping along anywhere from 2500 to 3200 fps.
@Wildwestwrangler You’re right it’s still a pistol cartridge, just looks very similar to a necked down small rifle round. That’s the reference I was after. Thanks for the comment and I appreciate you being part of the squad. Be safe and stay vigilant 🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸.
Any of the Boker Automatic Kalishnakov knives. I have five of them including the XXL.
Awesome - thanks for the feedback, I’ll check em out!! Much appreciated 🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸
So a .22 lr ? thats essentially what subsonic .223 is.
.223 is essentially a .22 just a tad more powder lol - they just reduce the powder generally speaking to keep it subsonic. You’re on the right track!
@@VPTACTICALhow many grains is the 223 subsonic ammo?
@SirDopeBoy To my knowledge it was 77 grain. 🤙🏻🤙🏻
Fun fact the PSA rock does not have a tilting barrel
You’re absolutely right, I stand corrected. The barrel does move but nowhere near the tilt of a traditional “browning.” Thanks for catching that, I appreciate the comment and for you being part of the squad. Be safe and stay vigilant 🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸.
@@VPTACTICAL you did good on reviewing the Rock, I’m glad your enjoying it, good stuff.
@illiliiilillilili2382 Thank you for the kind words, much appreciated! 🤙🏻🤙🏻
5.7 is a terrible round. If you want something fast someone already mentioned sig 357
Terrible but fun! Haha - I may add the 357 to my collection, going to do some research first 🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸. Thanks for the comment and I appreciate you being part of the squad - be safe and stay vigilant!!
Overrated. Used the 5.7 in Afghanistan and it underperformed. 9x19 is the way to go my man
@@ThrowingClips Thanks for the feedback! I appreciate your service and sacrifice. Won’t disagree with you on the effectiveness in combat, however, it makes for one heck of a range gun. I really enjoy shooting this round, plinking and target practice.
357 sig is a nice round too
Haven’t played with it yet, it’s on the list. Slowly expanding my caliber selection lol. Thanks for the comment 🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸 - I appreciate you being part of the squad. Be safe and stay vigilant.
@VPTACTICAL no problem man i like your content. Keep it up.
@@jimholesaw6597 Much appreciated - I hope you stick around 🫡
I'll probably get one sooner or later I've been wanting one .
Same here and I FINALLY pulled the trigger, glad that I did! It’s a sweet gun, PSA did this one right, and it doesn’t hurt that prices have dropped a bit on these. I think with the competition from SW, Ruger, and FN it’s helped. PSA stealing more market share 🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸.
Awesome pistol! Keep up the great videos!
Thanks man - you’re not kidding it’s legit. I appreciate the kind words 🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸.
Man, I love that pistol!!!
I’m digging it! Probably my new fav. range “toy”, thing is awesome!! 🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸
@@VPTACTICAL I want one so bad!! I so want to break my "ONLY 9mm/5.56x45mm" RULE.
@Styxx2018 Do it - you won’t be disappointed haha. I was the same way only 5.56, 9mm, and 45ACP. I’ve since added .22, .450 Bushmaster, 6.5 Grendel, and I’m contemplating 6.5 Creedmoor we shall see.
Smith & Wesson Karambit can’t go wrong with, or if you wanna spend a nice cold steel recon
Thanks for the recommendations! I’ll check em out 🤙🏻🤙🏻
If you got a knife recommendation drop it below 👇🏻
$75 Path vs $45 Ridge...
Pretty darn reasonable if you ask me!
Nice video. Got a few DM vids myself. Good run down.
Thanks man, much appreciated! I’ll check out your stuff as well 🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸.
You're not crazy; That noise always bothers me too. I wonder if anyone would build a buffer tube with a liner to stop that sound.
Haha good to know, you’d think someone would have created a device like that long ago. Thanks for the comment and I appreciate you being part of the squad - be safe and stay vigilant 🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸.
Hello really enjoyed your Video on the CYA holsters. I just purchased my first CYA holsters for my Sheild Plus. I am very happy with the holster it's very comfortable and the metal clips hold it really secure. I will keep buying and supporting this company. Thanks for the info on the company. I live in San Antonio so that's a big plus for me them being based here.
Glad to hear you like them! I try to support Veteran and U.S. based businesses where I can. Certainly a plus that they’re local to you! Thanks for the comment and I appreciate you being part of the squad - be safe and stay vigilant 🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸.
Is the PSA Dagger worth the money? Good carry gun?
Good question - my take on it: it’s a solid gun for the money, tough to beat. Like any pistol get through at least 500 rounds (clean it before shooting). Long as you don’t have any major issues beyond that round count I’m good with carrying it personally. Everyone has their own comfort level, you’ll have to decide what’s best for you. Hope this helps! Thanks for the comment and I appreciate you being part of the squad. Be safe and stay vigilant 🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸.
Very informative, love the channel
Thanks for the kind words, much appreciated 🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸.
First!!!
Haha, thanks man!
Meh 🫤
Lol you ok?
So that i understand....all you had to swap was the trigger shoe?
That is correct - take the old shoe off and put on the new one, back together it goes & your off to the range. 🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸
Is this true of just your triggers or all 43x triggers? I'm only asking because I've read a variety of things, including needing to change the trigger bar and housing...just looking for clarity.
@The_Hobby_Playground I hear you - looks like from what I was reading and researching it’ll also work for the Glock branded models as well. Same process tap out the pin on the old shoe, then install new shoe with included pin. Lots of options available tactical pontoon, Johnny glock, apex, etc. Just make sure it’s say it fits the 43x or whatever model you’re working with.
Great trigger. Unfortunately now 4 years later the are no longer skeletonized. Doesn't effect the function tho
They make one heck of a trigger that’s for sure! This is true - I’m happy that I picked one up when I did.
Doesn't cycle?
Not with this version of the ammo, they came out with a newer version that does cycle the bolt. 🤙🏻🤙🏻
i thought the g43 and g43x have different mags so i can put that 15rd in my g43?
Great question - to my understanding the g43 uses a different sized mag, than does the g43x. Thus the micro dagger magazine will not work in a standard g43. Hope this helps! Thanks for the question and I appreciate you being part of the squad - be safe and stay vigilant 🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸.
The Sig X-Compact grip is better than the regular compact grip.
I would hope so haha, even then the factory grip on the standard compact isn’t terrible. That being said the Wilson one really wowed me, just felt at home in my hands. 🤙🏻🤙🏻
Do you recommend this trigger shoe upgrade if u use dagger as a carry gun?
You’re not changing any major component to the firing group like trigger bar, springs, striker, etc. This is a quick easy upgrade and it’ll maintain all the factory components/safeties minus the shoe. I’d carry this all day long, no problem. 🤙🏻🤙🏻
@@VPTACTICAL what about the connector? Get that too? I think u didnt install one in this video. Thanks for the help!
@DG-888 The connector wasn’t available at the time I purchased it, he hand crafts these systems to work together. Assuming the extra few bucks isn’t a big deal, sure I’d scoop one up as well.
@@VPTACTICAL its like $20 more. The connector is supposed to give trigger a lighter pull right? I couldnt find any info on it whether its an upgraded connector or same as stock. Sorry to bother u! Lol 😅
@DG-888 I believe it is a Glock 43x connector that has been polished and “tuned” to match the rest of the kit. The connector can reduce trigger pull weight and trigger feel. To my knowledge the connector in his kit doesn’t reduce the pull weight, only the striker spring has a reduction. Hope this helps! P.S.- You could always reach out to him directly and he’ll be more than happy to address detailed specific questions. I’ve always found him incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about triggers & his systems.
My eForm experience was around 90 days.
Not too shabby at all! That’s fast in comparison to mine. I heard some folks getting multi day turn around, pretty dang wild. I filed with a trust so naturally they take longer.
@@VPTACTICAL I heard someone had an 8 hour turnaround. Mind blown!!!
@Styxx2018 no kidding, lucky son of a gun that’s for sure!!
Is it necessary to run a spacer for a regular carbine buffer tube?
I didn’t add anything extra or add any spacers, just make sure to match up the buffer weight. It drops right in as a whole unit. Hope this helps!
Finally someone else who feels the same way I always hated that about the AR platform. I have the one in my AR and love it.
Right? Haha - I’m sure we’re not the only ones, it definitely makes a difference. Eventually I’ll pick up a piston system, I’ve been eyeing the JAKL from PSA and the Brownells version as well. We shall see! Thanks for the comment and I appreciate you being part of the squad - be safe and stay vigilant 🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸.
