Introducing the Orbital Strike TnT Cannon

Ойындар

It's time to introduce Minecrafts weapons of mass destruction. The orbital strike cannon is capable of accurately hitting targets thousands of blocks away using any entity that can be propelled by TnT. In this video we will witness the destructive power of lazy acceleration and how this enables delivery of a payload to anywhere in your minecraft world.
World Download and Fire Control Script, BE AWARE that the cannon WILL NOT work on different editions of the game such as paper/spigot, purpur or Bedrock edition:

I don't think you'd really need a computer, moreso a specialized circuit. I'd needa take a look at the program behind it tho. Edit: Looked into it and it requires one multiplication per axis (so two, one for X and one for Z) because each tnt doesn't give exactly one block of propulsion so you need to adjust for the propulsion coefficient. It's possible to go for 0.5 blocks per tnt and just do a binary bitwise shift, but that's tnt inefficient. All you need to do after that is adjust for the coordinates of the cannon (a simple subtraction or addition of it's coordinates to the original input) Very doable

It can work over any distance so long as the chunks are loaded. It would take some redesigning the canon, but you could theoretically not only activate the machine, but even input the exact parameters from anywhere in the world beyond render distance! Although of course that would be a second huge machine you would have to design and build. I almost want to give it a try.

The Orbital Strike TnT Cannon knows where chunks are loaded at all times. It knows this because it knows where it isn't. By subtracting coordinates from where it isn't, or where it isn't from where it is (whichever is greater), it obtains a difference, or deviation. The guidance subsystem uses deviations to generate an Excel spreadsheet to drive the anvil from a position where it is to a position where it isn't, and arriving at a position where it wasn't, it now is.

Can this be done with an arrow though? I'd love to see a tactical air strike for dealing with wardens in ancient cities. it would be a two step process, step one a bunked Buster creates a hole down to the ancient city to allow an arrow to get to the warden, step two, a hypersonic arrow one shots the warden.

Going straight down like the anvil shown in the video, has only the normal gravity falling speed which then doesnt do much damage. Unless you send the arrow to the location, and send huge amounts of tnt to the same location but higher which will launch the arrow straight down and damage the entity. @@eternias6535 In theory, yes, a player radar would be a force to be reckoned with. In practice, constructing it would be a nigh-insurmountable feat requiring collaboration of the top minds in redstone engineering and an army of skilled builders. The operating principle is a massive net of hidden player detectors, connected to a central computer via wireless redstone. When chunks near a detector are loaded, the computer receives a signal. The approximate location is then displayed on a screen of redstone lamps for the radar operator to view. With sufficiently dense coverage of player detectors, more advanced intelligence can be gathered. Lone targets can be tracked over time to determine their approximate speed and heading, which can be used to distinguish slow ground troops from rocket-propelled elytra. Targets on the ground can be automatically bombarded using predictive aiming, while air units can be targeted by anti-air flak turrets or intercepted by friendly airmen on elytra.

From what I can tell enderpearls count as a projectile, like arrows, because they use raycasts to see if they collide with things so they can activate unique effects like the teleportation. This raycast will actually try to load intervening chunks which for a cannon this powerful will just instantly crash your game. We can get away with firing anvils and TnT because they actually won't perform collision checks in unloaded chunks vastly improving their performance.
