I still love my Air 2 S - no reason to say bye bye. Different tools for different shoots. Even though I use the Evo 2 Pro for any paid shoot - I always find time to use my Air 2 s - it still does so many things so well and it's so much fun to fly.

Another great video. Are you having trouble with the tablet screen going dark when it overheats? I' have this issue with my cell phone when I use my DJI RC N1 controller. I haven't tried it with a tablet since I don't have one so I just thought I'd ask.

Crap I forgot to mention this in my video 😭 When Autel first rolled out the Nano and the Lite drones, they were overwhelmed with customer service calls, crashes & repairs. It definitely was growing pains but now everything is stabilized and service is running smoothly. I just got back a nano for my friend and the service was smooth. #GrowingPains

Awesome review - I have the Autel EVO 2 Pro and the Nano plus - along with the DJI Air 2 S - Hands down Autel always has the best camera quality. Dont get me wrong - I love flying my Air 2 S. But when I go and do a pro shoot - the Evo 2 Pro is the only one I go with. The Nano plus also has a great camera for a small drone - and with the RYYB sensor it's the only one I would consider when flying at night.

Try to watch this video in a 4k or 8k television side by side of any Mavic 3 Cine footage you can find on the entire KZread, you will not find anything better. Many the have the Mavic 3 has realized that as well when the watch in a 4k television and shown to the public. You are buying a flying camera and the is what you pay for, everything else is secondary. The Lite version is not available with the RYYB filters but I think the Nano+ still have a better footage.

Very nice. It's my go to drone. By the way the lite plus doesn't have the ryyb sensor only the standard lite and the nano plus. If you want to lock the white balance start in auto then but the white balance button and it will show pro mode but the other settings are still where they were in auto

@@Matanumi Because I believe the 1 inch sensor let's enough light in. They only put it on the Nano Plus and the standard Lite model which all have smaller sensors

Great review as always. My exposure fluctuates pretty bad when I use Auto, HDR, and LOG. My WB fluctuates in PRO mode. Have you seen this on yours? Autel wants me to send it in for review. BTW, they answered my ticket same day.

I see at the 1:30 mark that the lens says f2.8-11 1-INCH ULTRA.Does the camera have an aperture control? Do you know if the shutter is mechanical or electronic? Lastly...your city footage is beautiful times ten but what's up with the audio? Sounds over modulated but I am a 'fuss pot'...haha. I still will opt for the MINI 3 Pro...saving the pennies.

@@jakesdronelife6307 The Nano+ and the Lite (Not the one in this video in witch is Lite+) No, I do not have them, but I do program/code cameras and all kinda of video technology. In my live streams I explained why the Nano+ is better than the Mavic 3 Cine. In fact is the best drone in the market the film close to film. Also look at this:kzread.info/dash/bejne/dJyJrbZxlMu6drg.html The reason why the Nano+ is the best drone in the market is because of the RYYB filters in witch captures more than 40% more light than regular RGGB sensors. Because the Yellow capture in witch is higher information than the Green capture you will have more dynamic range, color range and higher definition and not over sharping like make say. You will see ZERO sharping on the footage when you watch in 4k and 8k television, in fact it destroys the Mavic 3 cine footage in everything. And the Mavic 3 Cine is over $5000. And many that have the Mavic 3 and Nano+ that are not fanatics of DJI realized that after showing to the public in a 4k television. But don't take my words, watch these links I provide and you will see that there nothing better.

I bought this drone but ended up returning because I could not get used to the narrow viewing angle. I also have the Air 2s and the Evo 2 Pro. Aire 2s has a great zoom feature and I think the Evo 2 is an all around better drone.

Well I have the Air2s and mavic 3 …both are incredible Drone’s…right now in the world of camera drones the list is …#1 mavic 3 #2 mavic 3 classic #3 evo 2 pro 6k #4 evo lite plus and #5 the Air2s…so anyways you choose you get a top drone ..and the best value right now is the Air2s fly more for around $1100 and the evo lite plus premium package for around $1200 …the Air2s uses the same batteries as your mavic air 2 and besides the camera it will fly and function the same Air2s …the evo lite plus has a better camera and better wind resistance…

Have you had any issue with your phone display going dark while flying? I have a Samsung S10 and a iPhone 13 Pro and they both go dark the iPhone is much worse than the Samsung

Interesting... are you saying that you like this drone with the TripleTek over the Air2s Fly More Combo with the RC Pro? I would say at this price point but actually considering that the A2s FMC w/ RCP cost $1800 and this drone's premium bundle costs $1900 plus the TripleTek costs $800... I know you're no fan of the Mavic 3 but that's about $200 away from the M3 Fly More Combo... and you can fly the Mavic 3 with the DJI RC or RC Pro you already have. Just saying.

@@AerialImg Hmmm... but that's a smaller sensor, unless you mean you can get the Lite+ for $1145. Besides, that's only $150 away from the Air2s Fly More Combo and there's a FMC including the DJI RC coming this fall for another $100. People complain about NFZs but does the Autel come with ADS B? Not to mention the Mini 3... I'm just not sure that being able to fly around airports is worth the extra money. Especially considering Autel's recent probity and lack of support.

@@AerialImg Well my best friend is Ken Dono and I have seen it for myself. I agree that the camera is better, especially since it has variable aperture. Color science and processing are subjective and can vary from person to person. If you like the camera better, that's all that matters in the end. I tend to focus on objective factors and to me the feature set/ characteristics vs the price tag makes it a hard sell. It always amazes me the same KZreadrs that claim DJI is overpriced don't seem to have a problem when another brand comes out with drones that cost more... I mean if DJI is overpriced, why can't other companies come out with better drone, with more features for less money? You know, since DJI has done all the ground work and these companies are all but copying them. The Lite+ should be cheaper than the Air2s, not more, right?

100% I agree with you!! BUT here are some negatives: 1. In some cases, especially when filming something at a close distance (up to 10 meters) you will notice a more "smartphone" video, without a cinematic feel. This means that the manual, ADJUSTMENT, SHARPENING POSSIBILITY must be ADDED, by 2 or 3 Stops (+&- 3). 2. Log in AUTO MODE ??? And where is the A-LOG 10 BIT that they advertised it would have? 3. EV DOESN'T WORK CORRECTLY!!! IN PRO MODE, WHEN YOU INCREASE EV, (from 0 to +2) ISO INCREASES!!! and when the EV, goes from 0 to -2, the ISO, DECREASES!!! EXACTLY THE REVERSE HAD TO HAPPEN!!! 4. The EV should CONSTANTLY SHOW HOW MUCH UNDER OR OVER EXPOSURE THE SETTINGS WE HAVE CHOSEN ARE. Not working!!! 5. WB IS UNRELIABLE, CHANGING CONSTANTLY, EVEN IF THE CAMERA IS STILL AND THE ENVIRONMENTAL COLOR CONDITIONS ARE THE SAME. It seems to be affected by shutter speed and aperture!!!! 6. In some cases when we go quickly from a dark spot to a bright spot, there are pulse effects in the shot, so problems with auto focus or with wb??? AND ALL THIS 8 MONTHS AFTER ITS RELEASE.!!!! IF I KNEW THERE WAS THIS TREATMENT TO USERS, I WOULD NOT HAVE BUYED IT. Autel has proven to me that THEY CANNOT OR WILL NOT BE A SERIOUS AND RELIABLE COMPANY....

@@droneviewgis6699 You don't understand something my friend. EVERYTHING I HAVE WRITTEN IS MISSING SINCE DAY 1!!! They have nothing to do with the last update! You ask if I have reported them to Autel, the answer is YES !! 1 MONTH AGO. Because apart from all this, I HAD a False alarm from the lower sensor when the drone was at a height of 80-100 meters and of course there was no obstacle at such a height!!! And guess what, THEY NEVER ANSWERED!!!

My battery life on my Air2s has gone to shit from what it used to be

They know how to do a good camera but if it flys like a boomerang what's the point 😕

About 25 flights Aprox @30 mins a flight ✈️ in 2 weeks Aprox 12hrs of flight Time so far 💪 Why?

I hate that remote and I don't want to use my phone or tablet. Maybe in the future when they come out with a pro remote (like dji) I may consider it. Nice review though. Staying with DJi for now though.

I bought one, had issues, support was non existent. Returned it.

Now everything is settled in 💪 That's why I don't rush to be the first to review any of these tech products anymore, they always release them unfinished and unprepared, I prefer to give things time. Now that I watched this video, Autel is the only way to go, too much strings comes with Djl drones, peace my brother 🙏.

Yours is the Lite+ and does not film well in the dark and higher definition like the Nano+ because does not have the RYYB filters. But the Autel Evo Lite is already available and it has the same RYYB sensors of the Nano+ in witch has the best video quality in all drones today. Imagine getting this kinda quality in a Nano+ but bigger: kzread.info/dash/bejne/iYuYtLGenqWqmrQ.html also watch this: kzread.info/dash/bejne/gqV7wdxuhZWqprw.html and it has a rotating camera that no other drone have. And with some mix of two clips you can create amazing transitions of the world rotating dissolving to next footage.

I know there's a tenancy in this community to heap praise on any competitor, while simultaneously critiquing DJI for any flaw, whether they're real or imagined. However, when a brand launches a drone with less features and abilities, sorry ADS B and NFZs can be considered "features", that costs 10,15 or even 20% more money, I just can't see how you all can call that a win. Not to mention all the missing features after almost a year after launch.

In eu not suitable, cost like dji, poor manufacturer support, low service quality.

looks super digital/over sharpened........no where close to the air 2s or mavic 3....night and day difference.....not bueno

Lol what a load of rubbish. The Air2s has good imagery but the Mavic 3 is way too soft, with a lack of image detail IMO . The Lite+ easily competes with both of these DJI drones for image quality.

I must say I"m not convinced.. and that blue tent.. horrible, sorry.. I'm not saying they cannot make it better.. they definitelly have 'a base' to work on, but at this stage.. take a look on Mavic 3... you'll know what I mean.,
