@@TheRealGigaCat my comment is about competition not about winning.. without MediaTek flexing its Sub Flagship Dimensity8000 series we wouldn't see Qualcomm making some good Flagship killer processors...you know without Diemnsity8100 we would be just stuck with SD7gen1 barely any improvement from the SD778G... it's the pressure that why Qualcomm had to make rebrand last gen flagship to conpete with the Sub Flagship class...

8s Gen 3 performs lower than 8 Gen 2, but it has all the flagship features like X70 modem, flagship ISP etc. It's a flagship killer chip. 7+ gen 3 is midrange chip with higher cpu, gpu performance. It still has midrange modem, ISP and other features.

​@@singhmpthe modem is not really that useful though is it? If you had a flagship from the past two years in your hands you couldn't tell a lot of difference between them. For this price, calling this chipset "premium" is literally a crime given its name. It should've been stronger than the 8 Gen 2 and below the 8 Gen 3 but it's barely above the strongest 8 Gen 1 phones out there (performance wise). That's highly disappointing.

This processor is so fire that it can help me throughout the winter as a nice portable heater. 🔥🔥🔥🔥

AI features with cores for running those AI algorithms so the reliance on internet is not needed for live language translation , dimension measuring using AR , etc 3. ask the phone companies to increase the thickness of their phones so as to accomodate more cooling for those higher clock speeds and cores , else no matter how good or how low the transistor size is , these phone companies bad obsession with reduceing the thickness of the phone is gonna ruin what the chip has to offer 4. automatic battery cut off from IC at a certain percentage even when the phone is connected to the charging cable so as to save the battery life and now people can charge the phone at night and forget about it , no need for trickle charging too...............

All these things are already in 8gen3 and some in 8gen2 also. But the problem is manufacturers don't implement these functions on their device. A big example is night videography, 8 gen 3 already has it but none of the current smartphones even utilise it to the fullest and so is all the ai features (samsung is using the ai features from pixels and the rest of the phones doesn't even care about any of these).
