Angelina and her family were in the middle east and in the street was a young girl about her age who would put someone on her set of weighing scales for a coin that she needed to pay to feed her family. The girl was so poor that she had no shoes, and Angelina gave the girl her shoes. Angelina also then promised to always perform in bare feet until all the children in this world could have shoes to wear.

@@djs2006 I know, I have the book. The only promise Angelina made was to remember the girl and all the unfortunate ones in the world. She never vowed to go barefooted "until all the children of this world had shoes". @@clydeatrowbridge Angelina's "team" was her own family! No one rules over Angelina and her family. The goal was for Angelina to have as normal a childhood as possible. School has also been a high priority.

Tiny Little Girl Our tiny little girl with the grownup voice was 17 on Jan. 10, 23 and is now 6'1" tall and could be a super model, but I hope the major portion of her career will be dedicated to her music and taking the world to a better place. I don't think she even realizes this power she holds over us and the need to hear that signature voice to fill that empty void within all of us. Angelina Jordan is in fact the "Benchmark" for all other vocalist to try as they might to achieve. I have a number of pictures of celebrities whose height is known, for example, Austin Butler, who played Elvis, is 6ft tall, and AJ published a picture of her standing next to him, she was at least 1 inch taller than him, and she had to look down at him.

On the plus side, it was great for you to bring a friend and introduce her to Angelina and this performance. It is how word spreads and more people are exposed to this angel. Thank you for that. On the other hand, considering the many dozens of times you have reacted to her over multiple years, I can't tell you how disappointing it is that you don't even know the actual story of the shoes! A smaller point is that it is well known that Angelina was 9 years old here, and not 10. I wouldn't pay much attention to it normally, but with the commitment you've made over time to reacting to her, you really should know most everything about her. @@ShanLiB He does it for views and subscribers. I have seen him interviewed on a podcast where he refuses to offer support for the artists. There is another reactor you may know, Britt, and apparently they are related. She runs her channel in the same way. Definitely a business venture and not much caring for the artists except to do a respectable reaction.

The real story has nothing to do with a concert. The girl in question was a shoeless street orphan in Iran, & Angelina gave her the favorite sea-green ankle boots she was wearing. That was when she vowed to never wear shoes while on stage until all children have shoes. to remind everyone that arere are unfortunate children in the world.

Angelina saw her, and felt sorry for her, and went and weighed herself over and over because most of the people passing by were ignoring the homeless girl. Angelina had taken her boots off because she didn’t want to soil the girl’s scale, and she noticed the girl didn’t have shoes, and her feet were scarred. The homeless girl admired Angelina’s boots, and Angelina gave her boots to the girl. Angelina says that at that moment, she was filled with emotion, as if from heaven! And at that time, she vowed she would always sing barefoot until all the children of the world had shoes! Now, what 6 year old thinks like that? This was BEFORE she made her first appearance on Norway’s Got Talent!
