Great reaction, John. Dimash is Dimash. He can have a group singing with him, but wait! It’s ALL HIM!! He sang the low base/baritone, he sang the tenor and then he also sang the soprano part, then to top it all off, he came on and sang LIVE, as the pop superstar Dimash. Totally awesome 😎

I am a musician by profession and heard many beautiful voices in my life but I still can't explain why I am crying every time I hear Dimash. In my opinion it s his timbre, and vibrato and a very creative harmony.

And I think I know what you mean by harmony. ❤️ Then there is the emotion he puts into everything and the surprise and anticipation (of which notes he sings next) and the awe from hearing so much beauty all at once. It’s overwhelming. 😅 It’s like standing in a vast, natural landscape at night, and looking at the milky way. So much joy and so much to process. 🥹🥰😅

My mother passed away just at the time Dimash teacher passed away. Dimash ( Igor Krutoy ) composed the song "Quaragym Ai". And... I CRIED so much.. if you see the videoe where he wears the white suit, the woman behind the piano dissapear. My mother played the piano..and it's like, she is gone, but the music still goes on. Like her memories. Just like in this music video ❤

I‘m so sorry for your loss. But Qaragym Ai was the composition of the teacher who passed away. Neither Dimash nor Igor Krutoy had anything to do with the composition. More than 25 years ago, the poet Shomishpay Sariev wrote the lyrics of the song “Karagym Ay”. He wanted to dedicate a song to his daughter, who was getting married. The father puts his feelings and thoughts into the lyrics: how will the life of his daughter and her chosen one turn out, what awaits her? Talks with his daughter about the meaning of life. The poet points out, that the most important meaning of life is love. Life without love is empty. All the wealth accumulated over a lifetime is not worth even one day spent in love. The poet askes his friend, the famous composer Kenes Duisekeev, to write the music for the lyrics. The composer writes the music for the song, recalls his only sister, who did not have time to get married, because she died at the age of 19. Imagines what kind of feelings the father would have experienced if he married her to a man. Therefore, the song turned out not only about the poet’s daughter, who is getting married, but also about the composer's sister, who did not live up to her wedding. The song conveys sadness, the sadness of love which never had a chance to live. He wasn’t only the composer of this song, he also was Dimash‘s teacher/mentor at university and a grandfatherly friend for him.
