John, esta canción la compuso Dimash a los 17 años como trabajo en la Escuela de Música ,su papá Kanat escribió la letra y la grabó con un celular según cuenta él mismo en una entrevista. Gracias por este gratisimo recuerdo de Dimash adolescente. ❤❤❤

Amo ese MV, con esa lo conocí en plena pandemia. Ese vídeo lo hizo para participar en el concurso en su pais ( es el vídeo donde los jueces lo destrozan con sus malos comentarios). Su papá escribió la letra y la música la hizo Dimash, también su papá filmó el vídeo. Según dijo su mamá Dimash usaba el pelo largo porque lo tiene un poco rizado y a él no le gusta por eso lo usaba largo para alisarlo, cuando fue a china al concurso The singer fué allí cuando le cambiaron su imagen con la que lo conocemos hoy. This was done when he was 15 or so. His Dad filmed it. I think it was a school project. I really like that he showed his wide friend group. We see them often online with family or cultural events - like weddings and christening type events in his country. He shows he is funny and light hearted. This made him so popular when he was 21 in The Singer. The other contestants liked his light-hearted approach - even when he could not speak their language. There are some great videos of behind he scenes in The Singer. He interacted well with The Lion group singers.

It's out there somewhere along with another favorite, her telling a hilarious story in an interview about a rehearsal with Dimash and Aida for Ti Amo Cosi. Might have been on Belgian tv and had the audience and me in stitches. I just saw the first video I ever saw of him on state TV in Kazakhstan, my sister, him, we were all 15, 16, John Reaves recently posted it. He singing, long hair, drummer, guitarist ! Many memories. An American, we grew up there, our Dad is a petroleum engineer there, my brothers Raushan and Mansur's age.

Love your reaction, John. Yes, long haired and teenage Dimash (maybe 18 or 19 years old?), already oozing with charisma and he's got it all. I think this was for a project or a competition that he needed to submit a music video. He composed the song and I think his father helped with the lyrics and helped him filmed the video. It's such a fun MV. Those in the band were probably his school mates. I saw a video documented his rise to stardom and in it was a clip where he sang this song in fromt of judges and he was probably nervous, because his on-stage charisma was not quite there, but his vocal skills was, but one judge totally crsuhed him by saying that he was singing it all wrong and that he shouldn't have used his mixed voice. Well, thank God Dimash didn't listen to her opinion. Dimash went on to keep doing what he wanted to do. That was fun reaction, John. Thanks.
