I think the OP-X Pro people dropped the ball. The version I have often crashes. I quit using it.

​@@koncreteto2758 All the new GForce plugins have resizable UI - a big deal if you have a 4K or larger screen, since the impOSCar 2 UI is small even when "large." Also, the new GForce patch browser is top-tier for easier navigation. I think impOSCar 2 could benefit from the other UI / UX improvements GForce have implemented in newer products. A right-click waveform selection menu would be lovely, for example.

My favourite synth of all time!

I would still like a GForce version of the Clavioline. I first found out about Dave Spiers while searching for Clavioline emulations a long time ago. Yeah,, I bought GForce OB-X on first site. I have all the GForce stuff and watch all their historic videos. Will I get rid of my OB-X8? No. I like stuff and Nostalgia. I was also lucky to get to meet Tom and Marcus. So sad Dave Smith had to leave too early.

Top notch design. For a start it is easy to understand and navigate, extremely important for user adoption. The sound is incredibly alive with an awesome filter. I cannot compare to an hardware version, but I can compare to other plugins. This one has that extra edge that you feel when listening to vynil records versus CDs. It also compares well next to a hardware Prophet 6, and in the mix I will say that it is just perfect. Again, from a end user perspective it delivers extremely good value, and at this price point it is a no brainer to purchase. Many thanks for delivering another great product!

Awesome sounding. Sadly Oberheim is about the only main brand I don't own anything hardware so I can't compare. Usually not using plugins at all but again, this sounds amazing.The vintage know won me over!

I cherish the GForce SEM (one of the most satisfying softsynths i've ever used)...really excited to try this. I know the OB-X inside out as i've repaired one before.

Wow! This is really great! I love my OB-X8, but this has a lot of features I definitely love! I may add it to my arsenal! Superb job, GForce! BTW, on your website, the descriptions on a couple of the demo tracks uses the word EXPECT when it should be EXCEPT.

Think this might be the first? Though he has been involved in a M-Tron video, iirc. I love Alex's video's but I miss Dave Spiers' voice over. He has such a nice voice. Hope he is well.

OB-X supports polyphonic aftertouch and polyphonic pitchbend per note. In this way, it's great with a number of MPE controllers. Especailly tested with ROLIs and Osmose. It does not have per-voice CC control however, so cannot claim full MPE compatibility. We are looking into that for future updates.

Not yet, it currently only has some "inspired by" presets. However, we intend to release all 32 original factory presets free to users in the future as a bonus download.

I'd love to stick something like this into an OB-X shell and see how many ears would be fooled. If you think it's analog, does it sound analog?

Did they nail low frequency punch, filter behavoir and dimension of a hardware synthesizer this time?

Yeah it does, I was listening on a pair of Genelec 8341s and it has the nice low end punch.
