Stoke City have completed the signing of former Middlesbrough and Norwich City defender Ben Gibson on a three-year deal.
The two-time Championship promotion winner checks-in at the bet365 Stadium following four seasons at Carrow Road during which he made 124 appearances, including 29 as the Canaries claimed the title in 20/21 and 40 in 23/24 as the Norfolk side finished in the play-off places.

Ben Gibson is a solid defender who makes good use of the ball coming out of defence. If fit to play he would mostly be in the team. He would not be out of place as a captain and is disciplined and capable. He was signed for £8 million from Middlesbrough and was on Premiership wages. However, with Norwich failing to get back he was the highest paid player but not the biggest talent. You've got a bargain. Norwich city fan. Good luck Ben.

As a Norwich fan most of us couldn’t wait to see the back of him. He was very poor overall. Had a few good games but mostly not good enough.
