Check out this ALL-NEW course at www.alephbeta.org/bar-bat-mit...
Are you making a Bar or Bat Mitzvah? Mazal Tov!
But before you start throwing candy and dancing the hora: What do you think your son or daughter is going to walk away with after their big day? They may know how to lein, they may have learned about their parsha or one of the megillot, and they’ll have some more experience in the excruciating act of public speaking. But then what? Will the Bar or Bat Mitzvah experience leave a lasting effect on them? Will it fill them with a burning passion for Torah and mitzvot?
Your kids are pretty smart. And when they hear all this talk about how they’re becoming adults and they should feel so happy about that, but… they still live at home, can’t drive a car, and need to be in bed by 10… they know something’s up. What all that really means, is that from now on they need to keep all the mitzvot just like the rest of us. “Happy Birthday sweetheart! Here are 613 laws and responsibilities!”
But c’mon, we all know that there’s more to becoming a Bar or Bat Mitzvah than that. But what is it exactly? And how can we communicate this to our kids? How do we show them that there’s greater meaning behind the mitzvot? That Judaism isn’t just about following rules, but that we believe in deep and important values? And, how can we possibly do this when it’s a full-time job just planning the Bar or Bat Mitzvah?
Well, we have good news for you: We have designed a cutting edge Bar and Bat Mitzvah Prep Course that addresses all these questions and more. We tackle some of the biggest, most relevant questions about entering this new stage, like: What is Judaism all about? What’s the purpose of all these laws? Why on earth is a 12 or 13 year old considered to be an “adult”? And how is a budding adolescent supposed to develop a relationship with God?
Best of all, we’ve designed this course for YOU to take together with your child. Do you feel like you’re not qualified to be your child’s teacher? Don’t worry. These videos and course materials will give you everything you need to guide your child through this process. Are you scared about making time for this? The course can be taken in so many different ways so that it can fit into your schedule, no matter how busy.
You can make your child’s Bar or Bat Mitzvah an inspiring and unforgettable experience.
Don’t wait. Sign up now www.alephbeta.org/bar-bat-mit... and let the journey begin.
P.S. Not making a Bar or Bat Mitzvah this year, but know someone who is? This course is an incredible gift for anyone preparing for their Bar or Bat Mitzvah! Check out www.alephbeta.org/bar-bat-mit... for more info.

@@turtlesovertrains3667 April 26th 2021 I’m not Jewish but my very best friend converted and when her daughter was born she was raised in the Jewish faith . I didn’t know what to give my best friend back then because we didn’t have internet . We only had libraries which didn’t help so to be on the safe side I gave her 200 dollars which she preferred better !!! I have never had to convert to anything because I am an Atheist but I am kind to all people and all creatures and animals and I am a vegetarian !!! I feel I don’t need a god to be a good person !!! We should not be scared into believing in a god who supposedly put us on a planet full of Cancer , Diabetes, MS , ticks fleas , venomous snakes sharks, lice mites germs , lunatics, criminals and so forth . And if so , then which god ? Jesus Buddha Khrisna Allah etc ??? PS my best friend and I are retired and nearing 70 years old and we are still the best of friends !!! We never allowed our beliefs to over take our friendship !!! Remember giving money is the better way because they can save it or buy whatever they want for themselves !!! Peace ☮️ and well wishes !!! ❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍♥️♥️♥️

Can a non-Jew (one who believes they are a Hebrew of the exiled, now living in the nations)( who believes they are from one of the 10 tribes of Ephraim) be Bat Mitzvah?I keep the Sabbath, Feast Days, New Moon observe kashrut, and work towards living a Torah observant lifestyle. Have been doing this for 22 years and have a small congregation.

This video starts by addressing b'nei mitzvah in a negative tone, then promotes taking it likely, like it's a game.
