Introducing a QUEEN Bee into a HIVE

Doug and Sylvia showed up with a queen today after yesterday when we realized this hive was queen-less. We think she died somehow in the mating process.

Was that really a 10 minute video? It seemed like about 3. Haha The close-ups and detailed information is just so interesting. I didn't want it to end. Nice to see Tori in on it too. Thanks, Casey.

You mentioned that if the bees are fanning its not a good thing. I thought by fanning, the bees are trying to spread the scent of the new queen, and that is the goal

Casey can you show us where your hives are located in proximity to your garden. Maybe show or tell how important they are to your garden. Just a couple of thoughts . Look forward to every video. You guys are quickly becoming my favorite channel. Keep up the good work. Best wishes

I'm so happy that they have a queen and they look really happy. I have a question about my tomatos if you you would be the first out of 7 people I asked. When I plant my tomato seedlings they come up and get about 2" and then live I haven't yet been able to get one to grow what's wrong. Using miracle grow seedlings started with extra bone meal. Everything else is grow. Fourth time starting tomatos. First time gardener

@@honeytreefarmnc I thought it was the seeds so I bought burpee and they did the same thing. It's like they are tying to put there second set of leaves and they just fall over and die. It's like the stem is not thick enough to support the plant. Don't worry about it. Its probably me, trying to grow my own vegs because I have no car to get to the store, but everything else looks great. My cucumbers are as tall as my house so I made them to start coming back down. But I can plant all year long here because we dont get cold , so I will try doing tomatoes again it will be the 7th time trying. Thanks love your videos.

Charlotte Smart when they germinate move them outside where they’re exposed to wind that should thicken the stems
