He also said “I don’t wanna be late for my therapy session” cuz it’s the next song in the album. Plus “Music has raised me more than my parents did” is probably one of the most real lines in his whole discography. I still get goosebumps when I hear that line.

NF is like fine wine only gets better with time...every album has been better then his last...perception his 3rd lp is his best imo

Your breakdown of NF’s music is on point. You are very relatable and are quickly becoming one of my favorite reactors.

Man, I'm totally hooked on these reactions. There is something about the "NF Journey" that is so compelling. For me it's funny cause I remember casually getting into Manson when it came out, then listening kinda to his next releases and feeling like, it's great but so heavy...I felt like I wasn't in the mood. However then, I wasn't really paying all that close attention to the lyrics or the way they tie together over time. I was more just jamming to the flow. But then, it all changed and life came at me frikkin' fast. I had to come face to face with some destructive choices I had made, and that it had cost me dearly, nearly taking everything I love from me. And now, I suddenly hear: "What you're doin' is sleepin' And thinking that you're awake and you're not" How many times did I sing along to that line, but never realized: Man, this is/was me. I wasn't even being honest with myself. And now that I'm finally awake, facing the pain in myself, the pain i've caused, and taking responsibility, I feel like NF's music is SO real to me. I love that he is talking about crap that actually matters. I love that he is a Christian who isn't just papering over suffering with simple, rather trite answers. I love seeing other people listen and then take a look at themselves too. Feels odd at first to drop personal stuff like this, but somehow, not odd in an NF thread. I feel like there are so many people our there struggling through real pain, loss, shame, failure, fear, etc and yet all everyone puts forward is 24/7 this image-crafted perfect-life instagram bulls**t. I think that's why NF is reaching so many. Props to you TheThirdErnest for authentically walking this journey, listening to fans, and taking the time to talk about the content and stuff that's real. I'll sub. Keep it up. Sorry for the wall of text.

I like your point about the "woosh" at the beginning. 🤔 .......... Love the insights .......... I never loved this song for some reason..... the beat, I mean. I have gone through and listened to the words and I liked them but I don't think I gave them enough chance. Your breakdown definitely was amazing for this reason. ............ Awesome breakdowns and reaction, 3E! Some great tracks from Therapy Session are "Real" and "Statement" before you get to "Green Lights" and "Warm Up" between Therapy Session and Perception.

I really love your break downs. I'm old AF, I didn't grow up listening to rap but I'm obsessed with it. It's a different way of listening to and hearing artwork and your break downs help me develop my fan skills. Thanks!

love when people get into rap that didn't listen to before!! especially now that lyrically a lot of rappers are more complex than anything in the 80s and 90s.

When this track hits its peak intensity, the orchestra and choir blaring and NF with that aggressive flow, I literally feel like I need to pause the track for a second cause it’s is so full of emotion and intensity that I need a breather. One other tie this video has into his other music is that sign on the tree that says “Intro” references the end of the first Intro when he says “the least I can do when I murder a track is take the time to go to its funeral”. That sign is where he buried Intro 1 and then when he’s digging up the ground, it’s like he’s digging a hole for Intro II.

Once you hear it all in order. Oh my god. Its the most underrated list of songs ever. It all leads up to each other.

You honestly have the best reactions and lyrical understanding/explaining on youtube. Its just so real, no fake hype or excitement from you just "REAL" reactions that help the fans "WAKE UP". Please keep this up brother!!!!

NF - The Search was the song that introduced me to his music and I gotta say, I'm blown away by his lyrics and how much I relate to him and his past experiences. The fact that he also takes the time to shoot a video that brings an extra layer to his music makes me respect him even more. Seeing your reaction to that song got me hooked and also curious to see what other videos you have. hey, just wanted to show some appreciation for the crazy amount of camera work going on in this reaction video, little focus changes and rotated image cuts and the way the image re-centers when the music video is paused and stuff, really good camera work which is especially hard when it's basically a static scene. That's a lot of work to make this video easier on the eyes and visually interesting to watch, thank you.

After Therapy Session it's SUPPOSED to be How Could You Leave Us. And then Real, there's props from the Real video in Outro. Both songs have official videos. Then if you wanna see him flex before moving onto the 3rd Album, statement and Warm up is a nice Bridge single between the two. He's snapped for a moment

There are ones that I have to be in the mood to listen to, but not straight up dislike. Therapy Session is in my top five, so I'm pretty excited to see the next vid. I still can't decide on an absolute favorite.
