​@@thedoctor9230 The way I interpreted it, it was intentionally loud to perhaps tease but not reveal too much (and as a joke of sorts). Tyler even said something like "the volume for the drums should be good" or something right before they start playing, and there was the whole thing where Josh progressively set up his drums right after every song. Then the comment at 3:00:12, and Tyler singing (moving his lips) despite none of it being audible... Idk, I could be wrong, but it seemed obvious to me xD

When he said "I KNOW I'm not my only friend" i started crying, they've grown so much and have helped me in my journey and i couldn't be more thankful.

This is the first time since around the start of the trench era that i felt reconnected with the band again. I have grown and so had the band in these last ten years and when they started playing Trees, it hit me like a truck. Their newer music may not resonate with me all that much but Vessel has and always will be apart of my growth. Thank you for everything.

i feel the exact same! i got really into trench for a bit but as i grew older and am now an adult i am not connected as i was at 13-14 listening to RAB, vessel, and blurryface but watching this stream brought that all back and i’ll forever be grateful for this music.

This exactly. Well if I’m being completely honest, I felt it at their concert on the icy tour- I was certain I wasn’t going to go but changed my mind last minute. I think it’s easy to forget how much something means to you and how much it has shaped you when it becomes less of a constant presence in your life. And that concert, and this live stream, took me back to that. Hopeful for the next album though, Tyler said it’s gonna be darker and I hope it is.

I think we all knew from the start they had something planned with Josh’s drums but no one thought that they would do that to us at the end 😭 got me excited for disappointment 💀

2:19:50 THIS is the kinda stuff I was REALLY looking forward to when they announced this livestream. I'm so glad we get to hear a genuine Blurryface demo. This is huge.

Similarly to how FBR had a history of removing RAB tracks published to KZread, or how Tyler has to be secretive about RAB. The label has more control than the band over the release and distribution of all TOP's discography, unfortunately. I'm guessing Tyler wouldn't have been allowed to showcase the full demo.

Every time I think about how Tyler has progressed over the years I come back to this. It was good before, but the way it aged is almost exactly like how I’d describe wine

Fake You Out has always been my favorite on the album, ever since I heard it for the first time and this band came into my life almost 10 years ago now. It was so comforting to hear it in an acoustic version tonight. Like the energetic original speaks to my teenage self and what she was going through back then, and this live version feels soft and forgiving, something my now adult self can reflect on and feel thankful that I’ve made it as far as I have. I don’t know if anyone will see this comment at this point, but I wanted to throw it out there for anyone who might come across it and relate as well. Thanks again TØP, this stream made me feel old looool.

I found twenty one pilots right before the worst point in my life. I was immediately drawn to Vessel and that album got me through that darkness. It’s an album I still listen to after all these years and know all the songs and lyrics. While I’m not as big of a twenty one pilots fan as I was when I found Vessel, it will always be my favorite album of all time. Thank you, twenty one pilots

Watching this from The Netherlands. I never heard of Twenty One Pilots until a couple of months ago. I turned 46 and decided to start taking drum lessons. Have been struggling with ptsd and the drumming helps me a lot to relax and feel happy and release some of the trauma through rythm. Started watching drum covers and there it was: the magical music of these two guys. Their music helped me cry and continue to keep on going and never give up. I even started playing ukelele also. Tyler and Josh, thank you so much for your music. I hope to see you guys play live someday here in The Netherlands ♥ Congrats on 10-year-anniversary ♥

i'll be the first to admit i took way too long to appreciate TØP, i like many others discounted them as another group on the radio selling out for money. I always sort of felt like there was something i was missing in their music though, so a few months ago i went full deep dive and listened to all of their songs from Twenty Øne Pilots through Scaled and Icy and i fell in love. i may not have been around since the beginning but so pleased to be here for the 10th anniversary of Vessel and you better believe i'll be ordering the vinyl.

Cool to see how much they’ve grown. I hope Tyler and Josh know that no matter what happens with the band down the line, they’ve had a very real impact on the world. An impact that has picked so many people up from dark places and helped them into the light. It has for me. As I get older I don’t listen to them as much as I once did but their art will always be special to me.

All the low production behind the scenes stuff that Tyler and Josh find so cringy, is actually really important. It's the little bits of charisma that the band has been so good at shining through; I think that that is hard to do as a band becomes professionalized. Those cringy moments on camera and experimental demos are the primordial origins of what makes TOP special, it's just distilled and presentably packaged in the music. I like them now because they remind me of when I first fell in love with the heavily personalized style of Twenty One Pilots. It's what makes them stand out from other acts.

im just so incredibly thankful for this band. idk if i found them or they found me, but truth be told they saved my life when i was just about to accept that darkness would never leave my side. i've grown so much as a person and for some reason they are the only thing that stuck with me. so so so so thankful, trully.

10 years since I accidentally came across car radio, what a journey since. Never thought I'd be so connected to a band I found when I was already 31 years old.

Not gonna lie, this actually got me pretty emotional.

i’m so proud of how far this band has come and feel so lucky to be alive to see it! this really highlighted just how special this journey has been and i love seeing and hearing more behind the scenes footage and learning more about how each track was made and how it evolved. as for the song at the end, i think it’ll be a full length version of “You Are Taking So Long San Francisco”

The alternative "doubt" segment is just crazy. Would love to hear it with the whole song...

I didn't even notice the lyric change in Truce until everyone pointed it out...but also same. This band really helped me during what could have been a worse breakup and transition out of high school (and I was already struggling in general in how i felt about myself and with personal relationships), and into one where now I really do have friends I can rely on. "I know I'm not my only friend" is me, as well. 💜 Btw I love seeing all the Mexicans in the comment section, it's really funny to me to see them all come out of the woodwork and it's really sweet.
