If the SL is hit for one leg... Do we continue to hold the other leg until day end or exit it at the same time? Because there are high chances that market will reverse or at least not move further after hitting your SL. Whats the best way to manage if one side SL is hit? I think the best time to enter into this strategy is after the market has made a big move in one 15 min candle in any of the direction. This way you ll get to know which strike price to select and also there would be sudden spike in premium which will work in your favour. Please advise. Thank you!

Hi, Sir i have sold 14550 ce pe both at 40 rs each on last Thursday Expiry around 9.30 am when spot was around 14550. but when market moved down to 14470 swiftly , my pe went to 90 and ce was at 20 only. There was loss of 30 points per lot. How to adjust this and why so different, pe moved by 50 point and ce was by just 20? I exited in loss, luckily i have only 1 lot, if it would have been 5 lots then loss was around 10k...Pl answer this question, please sir.

If one side SL hit can we exit another position immediate otherwise retresment will kill other side benifit.

Hi Reyansh, good educative video, you could explain day wise SL very well. As a critical viewer I would like to advise you to have included the aspect on closing/exiting the profit position too...else a trader might hit a SL on the PE side if the market is on the downside but might not know when to exit the CE position which at that point will be giving a profitable return. Secondly request you to consider a similar video on Banknifty .

Monday is not good for selling and always try banknifty straddle. i will recommend best selling time as 9:20 & you can exit around 1:30 or 3 Keep SL of 30 points ie. 750 rupees

We can also use covered call or put strategy based on option chain data. Here low margin would be required and we know what is our max loss or profit. Whereas huge margin is required to sell CE / PE.
