my thoughts exactly!! her wrapping up rapunzel in those canes is so creepy you can really feel her trapping her. the way she walks with the canes is also incredibly terrifying. scariest witch costume i’ve ever seen hands down

it goes well with the backstory of her mother's curse should she ever lose the beans, now she's old ugly and covered in vines!

Then they completely dropped the ball with her look later on. Mind blowing how good the first design was and equally how bad the latter looked.

I can't even imagine being Rapunzel at the end there. That witch just hobbling after her at the end is freaking terrifying. Those were genuine screams of fear.

How was Waddingham not nominated for an Olivier for this?!!!

She was nominated for other performances but didn't win and not nominated for this one.

Fun fact: both these ladies went on to plays the Wicked Witch of the West 😃

Other fun fact Hannah also kept the the witch's mask and the wicked witch's gloves and that golden cup from spamalot which I haven't seen yet and I think it's awesome
