The name “right in the potussy” throws me off every time lol. Belibolt is Fr the goat. Super underrated electric type. Also it’s great to see joes zangoose love back again. Zangoose is Jan’s favourite Pokémon so maybe you can make a funny script with that in the future. Maybe have Jan cream over zangoose or some shit. My favourite Doritos flavour? That has got to be nacho cheese. I know, so original.

ayy thanks Ben glad you appreciated that. Honestly that shouldn't work once we get to mid/high ladder cause people should see the tera poison coming, plus a +2 acrobatics/brave bird would have picked up the kill anyway. So that was mainly for content for now, in the future I can't really do that haha.

Ayy love to hear that. Glad you're liking them. It's kind of a breath of fresh air for me when I make them you know. One on hand I have a normal playthrough of a vanilla emerald, so kind of easy all things considered, but then I can have a more competitive pokemon playthrough with this series.

I really appreciate you explaining flaws in the calculator. As someone who doesn't play competitive Pokémon I am glad you explain little things like that as I find this stuff fascinating to watch, and knowing about such nuances helps me appreciate the gameplay even more. I like the Paradox Raikou a lot! It might look a bit derpy, but the fact that its a brontosaurus, which means "Thunder Lizard" in Greek, more than makes up for it! It doesnt make up for Doritos discontinuing the Ranch Dipped Hot Wing flavor, though. At least Chile Limón Dinamita Doritos are still around.

Yeah seems a little bit forced. That being said I don't think the three of them were due for some love. The 3 birds of kanto got their regional forms, gen 2 beasts need something too. I feel like they could also have done something pretty easily with the regi trio though.

19:44 Actually I wanted to talk about this. I stopped playing newer Pokémon games and I was wondering. This time paradox is all about encountering prehistoric and future Pokémon right? So what we are seeing is a prehistoric Suicune I believe. But what's so strange is that according to the OG lore, Suicune and the other two were a recent Pokémon than a prehistoric one. In summary, they are basically 3rd stage evolution of the Eevee line (Flarion and the other 2) who were evolved by Ho-oh through revival after dying in the burned tower due to the fire. For me, the dots haven't been connecting at all whenever I see the Walking Wake so I thought it'd be a good time to know a little more about what this whole time paradox thing is...if it's not too complicated that is. I mean don't wanna bother too much that's why.

I'm not actually super into the lore of the time paradox stuff, as I haven't actually touched the Scarlet and Violet games myself or watched too much of the gameplay. I've just been into the random battles meta so I'm up to date on most of the new pokemon. That being said I see what you're saying. The pokemon never existed until a certain point in time, so the prehistoric versions don't exactly make sense. That being said, I think it's important that you relate the idea of an "established lore" in the series to how lore works in real life too. They're often just stories of legend! Might not be worth fact checking all of them because they can easily just be fables in the first place.

Just google "pokemon showdown extension" and get the showdown randbats tooltip. I don't think I'm allowed to leave a link here but it works on select browsers, I have it on Chrome. There's actually a few different extensions, this one is one of the simpler ones.

As someone who really Only played up to black and white 2. And some let’s go eevee. I have no idea who who these newer Pokémon and stuff sre but it’s still very interesting. If I tried this I would go winless most likely

I kind of stopped right after gen 5 too! But I always kept up with random battles meta at least a little bit so, I'm familiar with at least the fully evolved guys from every gen pretty much. It's not impossible to get into!

New raiku is goofy yet the lightning bolt dino combo is a great reworking. Certainly better than robot gen 5 mon

yeah honestly they just don't make sense from a lore perspective, unless I'm missing something. But maybe it's important to understand that the legends told in pokemon are just that, legends. just like how to us there are legends of lochness monster or stuff like that. So not everything has to be 100% accurate based on what the NPCs tell us!
