Battery improvements are but a small part of green energy..resources to build a green energy infrastructure will be a monumental task that will take light yrs to perfect into your grandchildren grandchildren’s. Good news is we have started the process that you Elon..👍😊

Yes, I think this topic is three separate discussions. 1. EVs 2. Grid/Electric Production 3. Green Electricity The grid and generation improvements are not that different than the rollout of refrigerators and a/c. Green electricity is a long term goal that isn’t required for the switch to EVs. It was a mistake to tie EVs to green energy, they can stand alone and are truly a better mousetrap.

The reason I gave a thumbs down is because of the title Maintenance NOTHING was shown on the Maintenance of the UTV. Just talked about how they burned the Excelarator peddle from leaving the ignition key on while disconnecting the battery that's it NO MORE maintenance done.

Great video. Are you using deep cycle or LiFepo4 batteries?

Thank you! The batteries are deep cycle lead acid.

We love our UTV, but this exact same unit with all accessories would now cost us about $7,000 more than when we ordered it back in 2021.

I see that the Polaris RANGER Kinetic is still listed at $25k on their website, but sold out. These competitors are getting closer in price. I wonder is Polaris will take a big price increase.

@@TheLawnEngineer Yes, I saw the note about being sold out, but according to the Polaris forum I just visited, they have not actually delivered a single unit. Folks have been waiting since late 2021, no deliveries until next year, maybe.

@@markfmoran very interesting. We will see how long it takes for them to actually smooth out production. It really is impressive what Tesla has been able to do, but they have been at it for much longer than most.

I’ve owned my HuntVe for five yrs just recently replaced the lead acid batteries .. I have had zero problems, would I owned a EV auto ..? Never..! The fossil fuel industry needs to support R&D transition only then will the EV autos be super better and way more affordable including battery replacements..

Yes it will be interesting to see what the next decade brings for EVs. I think incremental battery improvements will be enough to replace 90% of ICE applications but we will see.

Change the video title ffs. video has nothing about maintenance or an Owner Review. smh. And you could have just called Intimidator and they would likely diagnosed the problem over the phone and sent you the new accel pedal part. They did with me. It was an easy swap and very fast.

The owner called intimidator and they said the dealer had to diagnose. The dealer couldn’t figure it out and called intimidator…finally got the right person and fixed the problem. I’m sure they are getting more familiar with the common problem…growing pains.
